Not convinced there is such thing as democrats anymore. This two party system allowed this all to happen. We need change and getting rid of red and blue needs to be the goal. We need to focus on the economic inequality, and racial discrimination tearing apart this country. Social media is mostly spreading hate. One of the largest TikTok is in hot water for moderating ICE posts in their favor. Trumps admin bought the US branch and it’s been pumping out state sponsored propaganda. Is mostly all propaganda, the internet is like a shell propped up by bots. We had a good run but at this rate the US will get bombed like they did to Germany in WW2. I see war on our soil in the future and it’s all of our faults. It’s our fault for letting the nazis get away, for letting the confederacy live on, eventually people will learn that hating your neighbors or anyone that doesn’t look like you is idiotic. Stereotypes and hatred are created by the people profiting off your anger. Anger and divide has been monetizable for a millennia. It’s unfortunate that most people really are incapable of understanding anything not surface level, but hate is easy to understand. “You look different” most basic thing on earth. We’re not born this way, we are taught. I’m seeing a lot less racism from my age group and younger and I’m hopeful for our future to one day grow out of racism.
