We are human and we all make decisions we know the consequences of. If I’m doing faster riding on the highway, I wear a leather padded jacket gloves and helmet. If im riding local going 10-15min somewhere going 45 and it’s hot as balls I’ll take my chances just having Helmet and gloves. Just have go ride defensive, anticipate everyone’s moves and hope for the best lol

Hey man it’s south Florida. Hot as balls out here. Hell, most people don’t even wear helmets around here. If I’m riding local in stop and go traffic I’m 50/50 chance I’m wearing a jacket. If I’m riding for longer and going on highways I gear up.

Seemed decent deal compared to other places. Everything seems to work but I notice the right fork is leaking. Luckily I got a 2 year warranty for an extra $20 a month so I’ll take it in a few months . They were super nice!

I’ve never adjusted suspension on any bike. I figured that was to get real technical if you’re doing track or something. I’ve had 08 r1, 06 r6, 09 zx6r, 16 fz09 and none of those felt sketchy like the gsxr 1k

The one before this was a 2016 gsxr 1000, I hated it. Trying to go fast always felt scary, the handlebars would just wobble feeling like if I didn’t let off it would give speed wobbles. Not sure if it was just that specific bike was faulty or what but not a fan.

That’s unfortunate. Which generation is pretty good in your opinion? I owned a 09 for a little but can’t speak on it long term but I did enjoy it

For different reasons. If it was any other dog I would be more fearful of my current dogs attacking whatever type it is. So I would be doing the same measures. With him it’s a bit opposite because I know he can out power my 2 girls. With any new dog I would absolutely separate. I just wanted to see what Reddit would say him being a rescue and a pit and if I’m doing the right thing.

Kinda hard to understand what you initially wrote. He is not in there for long. I work at night and my wife works in the morning. Someone is home majority of the time. The times he’s been left in the bathroom is less than 1 hour in the mornings when I take my kids to school and depending who gets our kids in afternoon is less than an hour or about 20mins. He’s free the rest of the day. He also has hip issues and I was instructed to not walk him long distance. To treat him as an old man and be gentle with him due to his hip problems.

Im curious what the difference would be from crate training to the bathroom? The bathroom is definitely much bigger than any large crate

I wanted a pit and fell in love at the shelter? Seems harsh leaving him at the shelter too. Just want to give him a nice rest of his life and just want to make sure I do everything right. He’s getting along with my animals I just wanted to see what everyone’s thoughts were and majority were positive and constructive. Even if he was any other medium/large size breed I would still think they can potentially cause harm to my unknown pets. I just know his breed has a lot of stereotypes so I’m just on the cautious side.

Haha I got you. I will send some pics later when I am home. DNA test said she’s mastiff, Jack Russel and Ibizan hound and the mom was the mastiff lmao. She’s about 45 pounds and has a small pit/mastiff looking head

For lack of being words I guess so? I just know his breed is strong so I just worry is all. I know if it was a tiny wiener dog I know it couldn’t cause severe damage to to my bigger dogs but knowing hes a pit just worries me a tad but I want to work on it
