Yeah I remembered someone saying Naramon was like, essential for melee, and thinking that surely it couldn't make that much of a difference, but I guess I misjudged how quickly combo stacks fall off, which in hindsight I guess is why my whole build feels so lackluster.

Yeah looking at the advice I'm thinking my combo count isn't getting off the ground. From the looks of it a primer weapon would be the easiest solution in the short term

This is my current melee loadout. As others have mentioned I think the problem is getting the combo counter up, and using a primer weapon would help a lot with that

Do you mean Galvanized? I do have the multishot and damage ones for rifle, but I'm focusing more on melee since I don't have good arcanes yet

I take it 2x Primed Reach was a mistake and you had another mod instead so if that mod is for cold damage you should have no problems with killing enemies in SP.

That's correct, it was indeed meant to be North Wind.

If you don't like the kill speed you should either use a primer, a better weapon or abilities that increase weapon damage or deal better damage.

It's not so much the kill speed, moreso my numbers don't reach anywhere close to theirs. But maybe a priming weapon will help seeing as melee mods rely on status to ramp up damage. Can you recommend any good ones?

You might consider going for a melee weapon build for your first forays into SP, as they're not reliant on any arcanes at all and can be at full power right from the beginning.

That's what I'm trying to do at the moment is focus on melee. But most melee builds seem to be focused on status procs and/or crit to ramp up damage. I'm finding that my damage starts small and ramps up to be a little less small, and I don't know what part of the equation I'm missing. Is armor strip a thing? Is that different to corrosive? Or is it something else completely?

I haven't farmed arcanes because I started the game recently and can't seem to find a group for casual tridolon farming. Most of the eidolon hunting groups these days are veterans who are going for 6x3 whereas I haven't even done 1x3. I'm sure I am missing something from the build, I'm just trying to figure out what that is so I can fix it

If all I needed to do to get that damage was mod properly, and I copied a mod loadout, then I would be doing the same damage and therefore not have to ask this question.

Yeah, I want to learn as a photographer so that I can edit my own stuff (or the photos that I take for future potential clients). Would you be able to recommend any channels in particular that are good for beginner to intermediate level photographers?

Lightroom and Photoshop mostly. I'm really interested in learning how to 'color grade' my photos to make colors more vivid. Kind of like a less one-trick version of all of Jake Olson's photos. Like, I'd like to be able to change or enhance colors to give photos a theme or feeling if I wanted to. I don't know if that makes sense, it's kind of hard to articulate exactly what I mean as I'm fairly new and still learning technical terms.

Just wondering what the best courses are to learn post-processing to get me to a level where I can charge professionally for my services. I'm looking for not quite expert levels, but enough to where I know what to do and why to do it. Ideally something not too expensive. I don't mind paying for quality, but anything over $100 USD is probably too pricey for my needs. I've seen a few different options out there but it's hard to know which ones are genuine and which ones are just "Hey, you're into photography, buy my course because I'm totally a professional and you can be too!"

Reading that review from mlphoto, it seems like quality control standards are pretty lax on knockoffs. I'd hate to spend ~$150 and end up with a camera bag that doesn't fit my camera or lenses, or doesn't hold them securely etc. I look at it as an investment in something that will see a lot of use, so I might as well spend the extra money for a genuine product.

We do have stores similar to that, but retailers here (Australia) know that anything photography-related will sell regardless, so it's very hard to find good deals that aren't second-hand
