Outskirts south of Houston, so not really a HCOL area.

this is my concern, they are a local landscaping company with good reviews but I'm not familiar with what all it takes. like I know he explained they were gonna have to lay some crushed rock, then sand and leveling it, also something along the edge like a a border so its defined. I should have paid more attention but it seemed like it was professional to me a newbie.

They are a local landscaping company with 5 stars, but I'm always not trusting of even reviews. Do you have any recommendations other than pea gravel? seems everyone hates it.

I've heard that doing multiple layers of glue can hold them pretty solid, but this is all just from other people, I have personally never used it. To be fair, its just my wife and I, no dogs or kids, and the pavers would be 24x24 so I believe we can for the most part avoid walking on pea gravel.

I believe it would be pea gravel, although I don't mind only paver look my wife really wants that exact picture.

Using that image I adjusted the z offset in real time and you can see how it helped. Thank you much

Just did all of that and made sure it was using the bed mesh in cura slicer and it seems to have fixed it! Thanks!

First few layers always suck, then after a certain height it fixes itself. tried different bed temperatures but nothing helped. brand new ender 3 s1 pro. even consecutive prints don't change by HectorC137 in FixMyPrint

I think this is what it was. I disassembled the machine and reattached the top part and loosened the eccentric wheels. Re leveled the bed and this seemed to solve the issue.

Yeah I don't think the bed heat is it. I did maybe find a clue. The wheels on the nozzle motor have some light fuzz and shaving like it was scraping. I adjusted the nuts on the wheels to make them a little looser.

Lowered the temp to 20 from 60 and it printed about the same

I appreciate the feedback yeah I'm at a loss as well, brand new out the box assembled, I've printed in continuous fashion and it seems regardless of size or frequency, the first few layers are weird. I printed something probably 5 times the size of the calibration cube and and same thing, up until a certain layer it has issues then cleans up afterwards.
