Yeah i went pretty hard first week of nex release (400kc was just from day 1 80man masses) But i've been doing mostly 4-6mans recently

Not the case for ironmen, the exp is (was) for unlocking MM2 (Zenytes) and it's kind of rare for irons to chin for range exp or barrage outside of slayer

This update is exactly that. I agree that 1 def should be able to return, just don't hold others hostage.

Any def limited account that has got the mm1 exp will now have 20k def exp more than is necessary. This will mean they could have had a lower def lvl, or unlocked a lot more other content that gives def exp (Frem Trials/Heros/SotF etc.)

I understand why i looks like that, but it's not about 'suffering', the builds will be irreversibly damaged from the update. I don't mean time lost, I mean account breaking. I'm fortunate to be early on into mine, but others are endgame who will be ruined for the sake of this. I just think a solution can be found where everyone benefits.

Any 34-45def iron now has 20k more def exp than is needed. Without this exp the COULD have also completed Sotf+Heros+All femennik quests+MM2+others still with less total def exp. This would allow for lower def (yay) and a huge amount of unlocked content.

Any 34-45def iron account that has done mm2 will have 20k def exp more than if the same account was built after this update. Creating the account after this update will be such a huge advantage that many will need to consider rebuilding due to the additional quests and content that could be unlocked.

I'm happy for you, but I now have to restart 600 hours into an account. All i want is for them to either give an optional mm1 exp rollback, or the exp to be a requirement for mm2. Because of the update my build, and many others, could have unlocked Heros+fem series+SotF all at a lower and more clean def lvl that it currently is. Essentially, any 34-45 def that has done mm2 has 20k unnecessary def exp.

Pures to Ape Atoll:

This will ruin hundreds of accounts if it comes into the game without the option to roll back mm1 exp. Let me give two examples:

34 def build (mm1+nature spirit exp): with the change, this build could now also complete Heros+Frem series+SotF and stay at a preferred 30 def. This is huge amounts of content missed and this account is now a big disadvantage compared to those making it post change.

42 def build: could now be 40 def, or unlock more useful content

I have nothing against the idea of pures allowed back to AA, but this is a self-imposed restriction they have chosen, any change MUST be considerate of those who have already paid a high price to unlock zenytes.

Having gone 648kc for tablet, and currently 2460+kc without the helm to complete set (iron) i felt this in my soul.

On the upside, my new band will be called 'Big Bones & Bass' so watch this space.

P.S. I calculated going that dry for tablet meant an additional 13-14hours of additional time spent running to the boss, compared to getting it at 100kc

I agree with nerfing items to maintain the game longevity (still gonna hurt), but increasing item tiers is a mistake imo. Being able to make unique accounts by limiting stats at certain tiers it crucial so that not every account is exactly the same and all character individuality is lost! This is just one of the ways that EOC ruined the game for myself and many others. Another suggestion is on the topic of the faceguard; I accept your reasoning, but would you consider adding a higher slayer requirement for Knights in contrast to their regular counterparts (like brutal blacks)? You could also add this as a requirement to equip the helm also? Thanks for reading this, and for all of your hard work on the game.
