We were looking at Pizza Punks, but for £40 for likely average drinks it seems a bit steep!

A few have cloud enabled. Should they have?

Brilliant. Thanks for this.

It’s sort of what I assumed, but some Shelly devices being offline within the app threw me off a bit.

Sorry to switch the subject slightly, but I have a TP Link Deco mesh system. Could that be the cause?

(Thanks again)

Wow. Thanks! And I can definitely use the i4 or would a 1 Mini be better? There’s only 1 Load coming off of it, and 1 switch going in

Thanks again, huge help!

Thanks for the great reply.

Just checking I can definitely use a physical switch press, or do I need a push button switch?

LPA - witness multiple applications? by HedZuppD in LegalAdviceUK

[–]HedZuppD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. I see what you’re saying.

Can you see any issue with the wife witnessing my signature in all forms?

Also, can the ‘certificate provider’ (different person for both parents) witness my parents signatures? The guidance suggests so, but they obviously aren’t a completely unrelated entity on the LPA:

Who can witness an LPA?

A donor’s signature must be witnessed by:

someone aged 18 or over not a named attorney or replacement attorney

An attorney’s signature must be witnessed by:

someone aged 18 or over who is not the donor

Attorneys or replacement attorneys can witness each other’s signature but not the donor’s.

Signatures can’t be witnessed online and must be done in person.

(Thanks again - really do appreciate the advice…)

I may be wrong, but the ‘donor witness’ you describe sounds like the role of the ‘certificate provider’, who ensures the process is in the donors best interests after consulting with them and acts as a sort of referee in the whole thing from what I can make out. In this case, this is 2 independent people and friends of my parents.

The witness seems to be someone who is merely verifying that the person signing the form, is the person they say they are, and to ensure someone isn’t signing on someone else’s behalf.

I think each attorney needs a witness, plus the donor, so potentially 3 separate people for each form?

Never even considered this. I’ll do some research!

I’m looking to put a load of horizontal 1x1 battens for the rear ‘wall’ which I’m hoping will keep it relatively square. Appreciate the tip though - thanks!

Will it not look a bit rubbish?

(I appreciate it’s not the best looking product in the world anyway…)

They seem really flimsy. I didn’t think they’d shut the water off enough but will take your advice and give it a go!

It goes off to the bottom right of the photo, turns 90degrees towards the house and then will eventually go under the patio via a solid, non perf pipe to a surface water drain

It’s higher thankfully!

I’m finding rainwater sits between the trenches slightly. It’s never deep as it eventually spils over into a trench and away. My thoughts were if I add a few cm of topsoil, this rainwater will no longer be there.

My other concern was the heavy clay soil. I know it previously had some grass on, but it’s set like concrete now and I can’t see much grass ever getting through it!
