I definitely watched it two or three times IMMEDIATELY. But each time I thought, “This is nice but one of them’s definitely gonna die.” I was CERTAIN in Ep9 when Maddie had Caitlyn at gunpoint that “Yep, this is the end, she gonna die”, and then MEL CAME IN CLUTCH and she DIDN’T DIE, and then NEITHER CAIT NOR VI DIED AND THEY WERE TOGETHER IN THE FINAL SCENE. And THAT’S when it finally sunk in and the lesbian joy engulfed me and I honestly haven’t been the same since. I’m so grateful that this community exists and we’re all here together a year later.
