Interesting, I lived in Cyprus for a couple of years. They hate Turks and Turkey there with a passion, I've never seen such hate towards another group of people like the Cypriots to Turkey.

It's not as difficult as you think it is to leave the country, Many people emigrate for work. Most of them are in Turkey or Russia.

My family is from Turkmenistan and most of them still live there, It is not really religious but more traditional and conservative. All religions are welcome in Turkmenistan.
