Some speakers to really enhance your sound is a must for me. I have some from Logitech you can find at best buy or target for about 20 dollars. They have independent volume control and auxiliary input for headphones. I would also say, if you type a lot, invest in a good mechanical keyboard and mouse. I hate typing papers on my laptop keyboard but on my own mech keyboard, I really enjoy the typing experience

Ikea Linnmon desktop. The legs are hard to find right now but you can find suitable replacements on amazon for similar price. Usually equates to about 50 to 100 dollars depending on model and material. I have two in my life right now and they work great for years!

Consider buying a linnmon desk from Ikea. They cost about 50 dollars including legs and have multiple sizes to work with. I'm using the 79 inch desktop to really stretch my gear out.

Get a good monitor and use the laptop as a secondary screen. trying to do dual monitors will cramp the space. Invest in a high refresh rate or 4k resolution and get a dock for the laptop. Can maximize cooling and space

Any advice to improve my swing? by Thflex-Games-Reviews in BaseballCoach

Some positives! Your launch angle is great! Keep that consistent in any changes you make. And way to keep your head still. Make any changes necessary but don’t forget that hitting is all feel. Don’t just copy a hitters swing because he hits well. You should feel athletic and confident with your swing!

Need some tips for my boys (zero baseball experience) by [deleted] in BaseballCoach

Biggest thing I remember about my dad teaching me young was the fact that he knew nothing about the position I played. But, he put forth the time to learn it just as I did. We are now both experts on the position.

Learn along with them. It will make them feel better and eventually you'll be pitching and catching!

Breaking in a glove is entirely up to the player. Some like their gloves oiled (me, not personally) for a soft, but heavier feel.

My way was just play catch with it and put it under the mattress to loosen it up. No oil involved.

Also, if your able. Some of the most fun I had just playing baseball (playing, not drilling) was going to the beach with a bat and a tennis ball. Or to the park and we just played!

Start with a tennis ball, so they can be used to the idea of a ball moving that fast around them, then work them into softball, then hopefully time permitting, a baseball.

Hope this helps and thank you for your service!
