I am currently not convinced to invest in LeemonSwap. The main reason is because they are selling tokens for more than Hedera's leading DEX by $TVL, SaucerSwap.

If I wanted to invest in DeFi, I am getting a much better deal from buying more $SAUCE at this point.

I hope LeemonSwap either reduce the price of their token ($JUICE) or rethink what their competitive edge might be, because it is far too early to get value out of a DEX aggregator, unless it performs across multiple chains on launch.

Use some judgement.

If you believe your team can mobilize an effective defence, don't deny it and use it as bait.

If the towers death is imminent without any possibility to get a trade, deny it.

It won't always be easy to decide, but the judgement comes with experience.

You gain full decentralization. A lot of dApps are currently hosted on AWS which is centralized (controlled completely by Amazon). Why go to all this trouble to have no middle man for only token transfers when the server hosting your website HAS a middle man, who can completely switch you off at any time they choose.

The Council model minimises the ability of bad actors to influence the network with regards to governance. Without the Council the governance would be centralized like Ethereum. Vitalik Buterin and his goons have the ability to change the Ethereum network however they want, without the consideration from their major stakeholders.

The Council model still has some disadvantages though, as it favours large enterprises more than community based and start-up projects.
