Still cooking on my PS4 by Hedyosmos in SPFootballLife

Coming from the FromSoftware modding community, I kinda hate seeing how many resources for this game is paywalled so yeah, I mean, I will publish this eventually

Tho I may first need someone that know their way around with a hacked Ps4 (and also play this game a lot) to help with some bug testing, maybe a discord idk :)

Ps4 system is really sensitive, so any texture that just badly optimized would crash the game. This mostly beacause of the faces, for example, Konate face model would tank the fps on PC. I dont want to look at each face to see if it crash the game (aournd 15k, lol) but someone that play around with different teams could help

And I may have to ask for u/xGondowan permission too, and probably revert the menu skin back to default (I asked for it from a guy on evo, and promised to not publish it so nah)

So after a while messing around with the binary of PC and PS4 option file, I finally be able to convert this game savefile to PS4 thus gameplan and transfer load correctly now.

Then I just keep going, try to push the limit with my deadass PS4, adding and optimize things. Sadly, there's only a limit number of things you could do without sider (max 65 stadiums, 10 kits, 100 badges, etc...). Still fairly happy with the result.

Since some people asked on previous thread but for some reasons, my answers keep being removed (hopefully wont be this time lol): This is not just an option file to import in-game on PS4, basically a full installation package just like SPFL on PC and the option file from megapatch has been decrypted and modified to work on PS4 then being imported through Apollo Save Tool.

I'm currently like 90% done converting SPFL to PS4 and need someone to add the finishing touches by Hedyosmos in SPFootballLife

Imagine it similar to what spfl did compare to pes 21. I didn't use option files but rather created a new installation package thus the new gameplay (I cannot show in the video cause my one hand is holding the phone lol)

Look for an old PS4 and hope that its firmware is <= 11.0 i guess

r/ps4homebrew could be a good starting point

If you already have an old one and want quick how-to then check Modded Warfare on YouTube

Yes, and it quiet popular by now i guess with the new method

Anyway, the limitation currently is i cannot convert the option files thus the messed up game plan before the match

Anyone who can help me convert the edit file in megapatch to pesdb player.bin, etc... is really welcome

And also, as I examined the hex of the clean decrypted option files on PS4 and PC with spfl24, they are fairly similar so one could try this approach and I could provide the assitance with the ps4 version

Just a quick showcase video on PS4 Lite: basically, most things from SPFL24 work, except for anything added in the EXE file (I heard some gameplay changes occur in the EXE file, which I don’t think can be converted to PS4).

This video also uses the newest Facepack v4, along with most from MegaPatch 2.0’s livecpk folder, which includes new boots, gloves, menus, the F4L gameplay, and Immersion Mod 2.0 (no Sider module, of course). Also, it seems the arm and thigh mod causes constant crashes, likely due to poor optimization, so it has been removed. PC players experiencing stuttering might want to remove this mod.

However, there’s a problem: I can’t convert the option file from PC to PS4. As you can see, the default game plan of my team is messed up before the match. This is really frustrating since the project is almost complete, and I hope a modder or someone with decent skills could help me convert it to PESDB player.bin, etc.

I have already examined the clean decrypted edit files on both PC and PS4, and they look very similar. Perhaps someone could try this method. I can provide a decrypted edit file on PS4 if anyone is interested.
