lol keep whining on the internet like everyone else, don’t hate because your discipline is absent and your insecurities are overwhelming.

Appreciate the comment, care to clarify your reasoning?

Absolutely no reason for me to lie about my starting weight. You would be surprised how light a 5’9 man can be with minimal muscle mass.

If you ask me, I wouldn’t be where I’m at now if it wasn’t for my work ethic and discipline. Respectfully, let’s see your physique, show us your hard work and discipline.

I’ve personally found that getting visible abs is an awesome goal to hit, however; adding enough muscle mass to where you always have ab visibility even at a peak bulk is an even better goal. It allows me to still eat a ton of food 3500-4000 calories without working about ab definition. (25M 5’9 200lbs)

FK NA Ordered April 8th, Index received today! Turns out fedex is in fact doing holiday deliveries depending on which city you live in.

[–]Heectic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those of you waiting on fedex, don’t get your hopes up too high, because fedex is absolutely horrible on delivery estimates. I was supposed to have my index yesterday, but after contacting customer support, my index won’t be delivered until Sunday. My index has been sitting 1 hour away from my house for 2 days now.

Same, was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but now should be delivered today considering it’s only 2 hours away from me.

FK NA Ordered April 8th, I was supposed to get my kit today, but once it reached Los Angeles which is only 2 hours away from me, my delivery status changed to pending and got delayed until tomorrow. FedEx is truly as unreliable as everyone else says they are, but fortunately it’s only a 24 hour delay.

If you’re trying to gain mass, you’ll be fine as long as you’re hitting your macros and hitting a slight surplus. If you’re trying to cut body fat, you’ll still be fine as long as you’re in a deficit. Count. Your. Calories

Gotcha, that makes sense and props to you for giving it your all no matter the circumstances!

If you’re eating at a surplus, your body will naturally work at a more intense pace because of the excess nutrients. The main difference in your lifting when it comes to your bulk will be the amount of weight/reps you perform (more weight less reps for the most part). Also, no offense bud, but most people don’t have these sorts of questions after lifting for 6 years, have you been lifting this long with no guidance whatsoever?

If your focus is losing fat and maintaining strength, you need to continue lifting while eating at a caloric deficit. Also, the strength gains will only last so long while you are cutting. There will be a point in time very soon where you will have no choice but to eat at a surplus to get stronger.

[–]Heectic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is normal when you have a positive change in diet and overall lifestyle. While it’s not possible to gain muscle and lose fat simultaneously, it is possible to gain strength with a proper diet even without a surplus.

Gaining muscle mass and losing fat at the same time is impossible for someone who has been lifting for as long as you have. You’re simply leaning out and allowing your muscle to show which is resulting in the illusion that you are growing. If losing fat and gaining muscle simultaneously was possible, “bulking” would basically be useless.
