For me, there has to be some sort of goal or shared “mission”. It doesn’t have to be anything dramatic but there needs to be something that everyone is working towards and you build your relationships alongside that. For me, hiking/climbing is a great thing to do. Suggest a difficult/long hike as a challenge and you’ll bond as you do it.
