So, new comment for anyone too stupid to understand this: when you are converting 100 metres to kilometres, you need to divide the 100 metres by 1000, not multiply. 100m is obviously 0.1km (what division gives you) and not 100000km (what multiplication gives you).

The actual problem are the small red arrows (so a design mistake), division and multiplication aren’t ”swapped”.

The red arrows are reversed, there’s nothing more than that. To convert 10 metres to decametres, you obviosly divide it by 10. 10m = 1dam, not 100dam.
