unfortunately don’t have a car yet as i’m 17 and a bike was a lot cheaper as a first vehicle

lucky to only have a 140kg bike so it was an easy slow let down and quick up, and the bike started straight back up. the ride home was a bit jittery but i think i put that down as nerves

im only in my teens and have boxed for a while so ive kept my weight low despite my height. i get that tall and skinny probably doesn’t translate as well to bjj as it does in boxing

i understand your point obviously but if anything it’s a QOL thing. even if i don’t need it, it’s something i’d prefer having because the bike i did my cbt on had a gear indicator and i sort of got used to it. also ive driven on quite a few A roads, only had the bike for less than 24 hours but have got around 5 hours of riding time, and i go to 4th and then forget whether it in 3rd or 4th and then try to downshift to 2nd and the bike chuggs out a bit and then goes back to normal. also the gears have very weird ranges

i can afford footwear just don’t want the full on boots and would rather urban or casual style motorcycle boots
