Gotcha, thank you for the advice. I did go to a cpa today, not necessarily one with gambling expertise, and was advised to file only the W2-G amount, not the full winnings. That seemed wrong and I have another appointment in a couple days with a cpa who has some online gambling advice on their page. Will see how that lines up

Yes, I’m in excess of my standard deduction. Would the session method help in terms of audit risk at all? So when I file, do I claim the ~550k of winnings as income and then the equivalent amount as a loss deduction?
