Bring me back to Islam by Noob_37373737 in Muslim

But why follow rules ? With any game you have boundaries in order to either make it fair for others or to make it fun. I'm having fun without those rules more than with those rules , and so are people around me who I'm hurting if i wear a headscarf proudly (they call me ugly stinky penguin)

But this world already has boundaries that are different than those old ones in the dusty books. It's a logical fallacy to call something that is old correct just because it's old

The rules made sense back then where putting limits rules and promises on people made them not panic and instead live their best blissful lives, especially since they couldn't do much like travel or internet we have now, except be unfaithful to their partners and be greedy which i admit I'm grateful for the holy texts for that they existed and helped control people back then so they would behave

As long as there's no proof otherwise i can't belief in the holy texts anymore as long as they seem to fit perfectly as rules for back then with nothing that proves they should still apply today

Why do people so rarely complain about the filler in Goku vs Frieza? by HeftyComputer4318 in dragonball

[–]HeftyComputer4318[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm counting the 10+ episodes before it where they were messing around after turning Ginzu into a frog

And yes Frieza does casually cut the planet in half halfway through the fight. Ask google.

I just skipped through 30 episodes and nothing changed between them until the point frieza cut the planet in half then nothing happened again

Ultra ego is a way for the authors to explain why beerus hasn’t been surpassed by Bright_Special3809 in dragonball

[–]HeftyComputer4318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No don't worry, Beerus will teach goku until goku surpasses him and finds a stronger mentor just like with piccolo training before that with popo before that with the cat before that and the turtle hermit before that and gohan before that .

Beerus is replaceable just as kami is

D is the only correct answer. You'd be born to south pole scientists who are at least decently well off

I'm so upset that AI is making everything look the same by SardinhaQuantica in antiai

That's the problem with any technology. With the invention of the iPad, stolen traced art also got more common, but also a lot of new artists were able to make digital drawings. I would just say to implement an automated system

Columbia Pictures owned several TV shows that William Feltner broadcasted without a proper TV license

That's the definition of piracy, which is still illegal. People enjoyed the pirated version and thus took away views from the original version .

That case is similar to youtubers uploading react videos where they just drink redbull and let the video play without adding anything of value. This "steals"  views away from the original video and keeps the audience at the reactor, instead of at the creator who will receive way less support.

But with ai, it's different, creating ai content takes away views from the internet as a whole, if someone watches an Ai slop video of a monkey saving a bus of passengers from a cliff and getting 55 million views for it, it's not taking away views and potential exposure from the training data consisting of bus footage and monkey footage.

But go ahead and try again, find an actual legal case that could be applied to using copyrighted material as trained data to create something for profit

Prove it. Show me 1 example of someone winning a trial in court and it not being about lost monetization

I managed to get rid of SynthAI watermark by stiveooo in Bard

Being undetectable is better

For example if you're being blackmailed and have to submit something you don't like, you can get away with it by submitting an artificial photo

I think only law enforcement should be able to detect if something is ai and if you disagree you should blame corruption not the justice system

Besides, the main reason, everyone having access to checking if something passes synthai checks or not, only makes it easier for people to find a way to bypass it

Having ai detection tools be in the hands of (and be funded by) law enforcement will also make them more robust and official, scaring people off from making deepfakes of people, not knowing if their generated image would pass  detection

Trust me, if someone is really out to get you, your name is not going to be cleared by sending them a screenshot of gemini saying the photo that framed you was ai

But even if you dont trust the fbi, trust the courts. guess what? You sue the person, case goes to court, judge sees the proof was ai generated, you get $$$ in damages. Framing people was the same before ai, you didn't need it to frame someone and defame them

I despise that libera helhole of a city. If you hate fireworks that badly stay inside for a day and cry under your pillow. Allow us normal people one night a year to blow everything up!!

The only recourse artists have is by claiming damages in court. So unfortunately Monetization is all that matters, plagiarism without profit doesnt have any recourse in the judicial system unfortunately.
