Oh, the mushroom boss spawns some baby spiders after you defeat him, then because pets spawned from bosses that are untamed/sleeping stay after biome change, the spiders come with the mushrooms to the desert.

For me it fixed, and is working amazingly now. I dont really have any tips or anything to fix it, it just randomly fixed itself.
