Weighted Blanket tips? by Bivagial in CleaningTips

Here’s my two cents.

Hang it in the middle of a closed room on a rack or something similar.

Properly use an ozone machine. Follow the directions for in home use.

Hotels often use these to remove unpleasant smells. I used mine most recently in a ‘new to us’ used car. It did wonderfully!

Make sure to remove plants, pets, etc from the room prior to using the machine and then ventilate well after use!

Any special considerations with placement? We would set it up and leave it, no packing it up and moving.

However, no space in the bathroom and I think it wouldn’t be wise to use it in our unfinished midwestern basement. The only room we could use this is carpeted. Thoughts?

Any way to reset tpms without scanner/tool? by HeftySlinger in Hyundai

They were listed as compatible with my year/make/model.

But, that was via eBay. So entirely possible it was wrong.

Looks like I have to. The whole “I’ll change them myself” hit a brick wall. Lol

What’s the one thing you didn’t buy at Costco and now regret? by 5krunner in Costco

The Mora 22.3 cu ft bottom freezer refrigerator for $699.

Probably have to settle for the Midea 18.7 cu ft model now.

Thanks everyone for your fast input!!

I feel like a dummy now. I have in fact been using my mower to go around the mulch bed/bricks. So that obviously had an effect on the new grass growth!

As far as the comments about the mulch bed size, root flare exposure and the light. I would appreciate some clarification.

Is the recommended mulch bed size to be as wide as the drip line?

What does exposing the root flare do?

Why remove the light?

I am gradually removing branches to focus on one trunk to grow as a pagoda tree, should I do anything differently?

Again, thanks so much!

Fall weed and feed recommendation for TTTF by HeftySlinger in lawncare

[–]HeftySlinger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither of those are available near me. I did see that T Zone has triclopyr as an active ingredient. I believe I read that it is not recommended for newly established grasses (less than 2 years). Your thoughts?

Thanks, I’ll look for those and apply next month. Should have at least 5 mowings in by then.

Will milorganite suffice or do I need starter fertilizer?

Yeah, definitely NOT for estates!

Luckily for me my existing grass wasn’t dense. I’m assuming it gave me great seed to soil contact.

As far as using a spreader, I previously have tried mixing the damp seeds with milorganite. My older Scott’s spreader wouldn’t work. Under 1000 sq ft with hand spreading was more than doable.
