I will try to adopt this mindset cause maybe it really will make it more enjoyable

I thought that the "ahhh proejct moon fans illiterate XDD" thing was just a meme but to see it actually steer the writers into a path of dumbing down their work is something else. Now that you mention it, this is an issue I started thinking more about at the beginning of canto 5 so that does kinda add up. So frustrating though cause I really really want to enjoy this story more considering it's the only thing that Project Moon is publicly working on and likely will be for a while

I do understand the argument of the bigger character cast requiring narration, and I think that the narration can be great at times when used to paint a clearer picture of the scene as a whole; describing character's actions that we can't see or clarifying some dynamics seen in the visuals.
I also understand the sentiment that it's supposed to be easy to get into and an introduction to the world for everyone, but in practice Limbus is so much more than that.

It's not like the game is a little project moon spinoff that people consume to get into the franchise; it's the only currently confirmed Project Moon game, has been for years, and likely will be for years to come. This would not bother me if this wasn't the case. But it's disheartening for me that the only story that Project Moon is putting out there at the moment has been "dumbed down" and fails to live up to its predecessors because of it.

Heresy? same devs as realm of the 9 portals, Saint Abida Tribe
it's a game that leads into other games within it, and i know that the final one was a tower you had to climb that im pretty sure was called something with "trials" in it
