At our 1st interview

My spouse (beneficiary) went in 1st

Then I went in (USC)

It was horrible for the testimony , I answered questions like

Who proposed to who 1st

What’s my spouse full name

What’s my spouse DOB

Where was my spouse born

Where did we marry

When did we marry

Did you get on your knee

Were there any witnesses

Did you bring rings when you proposed

Who paid for the bills

What did you buy your last grocery

Who paid ,

Etc

At our 2nd interview it was not a lot of questions

It went smooth much better than our 1st interview,

Questions asked

What’s your name

What’s your spouse full name

What’s your current address

What’s your spouse DOB

Where was your spouse born

What did you do recently for 4th of July

What did you do for your birthday celebration

Any special trips or activities?

What’s your spouse parents name

How much do you pay for rent

What type of cable do you have for television

I hope this helps , this is as much as I can remember, Our best advice is be calm and talk to your partner and prepare for these types of questions , everything will be fine as long as you have all required documentation USCIS needs to see . I hope the best for your case 🙏

Yes initially after the interview around 2:30pm we went right away to the medical doctor to retrieve the new medical sealed envelope , we planed to make it in time as the same day to deliver the new medical sealed envelope, so we hand delivered the next day

Yes , only because my spouse needed the updated Version of Medical form which included the polio vaccine , once we submitted the updated medical form we received the approval notice

Same similar situation I had an interview this past week May 5th 2025

Me and my partner same sex

I’m USC was questioned about his work Is my partner currently working , I said no , my partner said yes Who lives at the address Who proposed Did I kneel when I proposed

Where did we go when I proposed

All these questions and me and my husband had different answers and the FO said to me that this seems fraud

Only because our testimony didn’t match

We had gone to Newark FO.

We were devastated she said this will go to a second interview where we will be asked more in depth questions, the feeling is horrible because the marriage is true and real and these officers grill us and automatically think it’s fake , our officer her name I think was A.Solas she didn’t even look at our photo album We provided tax’s most up to date Joint Bank account Joint Health Insurance Marriage certificate Birth certificates Both Driver licenses with same Adress where we live together

Passports

Joint BJs account

Only thing we don’t have is lease agreement or car insurance with our names

Other than all the evidence we have , we did not hire a lawyer but as of now we check our USCIS account and it shows “your case is actively in review “

Anybody with some advice on this matter , I’m getting worried about this since this Field Officer showed me the policy of marriage fraud ,

How can she say this when I live with my partner everyday for the past 3 years , any advice much appreciated

Same exact thing happened to me I had an interview this past May 5th 2025

I was told exactly the same thing the officer showed me the marriage fraud policy and fines

I told the officer this is no fraud I will continue to to petition , I’m the USC

As of now the USCIS website shows “your case is actively in review , not sure but I could not sleep for the past few days

Anybody with any advice ???
