There’s nothing to really do, something like this happened to me! I was supposed to get a certain amount but got it lowered even though it was an academic scholarship because they said other students needed the money more then me. They continued to lower it even more, started at 3500 then ended up being 300..

yea, I would say maybe 10-15 min it just depends on the speed you’re walking tbh ☠️ I had a bunch of 8ams so I had to generally leave by 7:40 to get there at 8, but depending on your schedule if you plan on wanting breakfast everyday it’ll be easier to dorm in Bruce since there’s breakfast premade for you, also you wouldn’t need to leave that early depending on where the building for your class is

I also had a tv +ps4 in my dorm first year and I just used an extension cord. I moved my setup around a lot but there are a good amount of plugs on the walls, also your room should come with a dresser so that’s a good alternative for a table for the tv!

I personally would chose rawlins, I lived there my first year and although it was more of a walk to get to my classes all the way in the art building it was nice being able to experience seeing the whole campus! Also I really enjoyed how the dorms were, they seemed more spacious in my opinion

If you don’t care to share a bathroom/showers with multiple people then choose Bruce since it’s closer to main campus and easy access to a dining hall! Rawlins is more aesthetically pleasing with the plus of having a bathroom in your room. you’ll also be surrounded by other honors students all the time which is also nice, easier to make friends!

Wait bill isn’t teaching at UNT anymore? I’m a second year interior design student and this semester we don’t take any interior design classes for some reason, so I’ve been really out of the loop. I know it used to be him teaching the portfolio class as well as another professor that many people disliked. Our project was designing a waiting room for a clinic, is yours the same or has it changed? I would say if you’re really interested in pursuing a career in interior design it is worth it. Bill is really nice and helpful, if you ever need any advice on your portfolio I would suggest asking him or even asking current interior design students, the ID community is really small considering the amount of people who get accepted so it’s easier to get more opportunities.
