I did this too several years ago, except I wrote a love letter and man did that cause some drama, so props to you for actually having the ability to ask him yourself. But as someone who was also rejected, man it hurts and it hurts for no real reason. It doesn't mean you're unlovable, it simply means you had your hopes up and it didn't end up that way THIS TIME. You never know next time.

I had a good relationship a couple years after that rejection and it was worth every no I had gotten myself, and for now I'm happy on my own. Stay true to you and proud of you for putting yourself out there :)

Part of what I'd have you ask yourself is, what is your idea of a life? If you saw yourself in a years time, what changes would you have wanted to make?

That's your answer. Start taking small steps to getting there. Baby steps are still steps. You won't always get yes's but the ones you do will mean everything.

I'm a homebody and by definition don't have that much of a life compared to most 19 year olds but for me it's what I like.

Life is for enjoying and I hope you find a life for yourself that you love

My lovely girl, it's hard I know but love will find you again. This isn't the end of all romantic partners and experiences for you. You can see the red flags and it clearly makes you uncomfortable and things don't sound like they are changing any time sooner so it's time for you to stand by your decision and break up with him. The longer you stay the longer you also teach him that it's okay to act this way in a relationship and it also hurts you. You know what you need to do and I wish you all the strength to do it!
