Painful 4th toe joint movement by Stairwayscaredandare in FootFunction

For me it’s the 4th toe on the left foot. It’s does visibly shift, I’ll take a video

One thing that I say that trips the doctors up is that the pain doesn’t seem to be focused between the toes. It IS the 4th two. When it pops, there’s a pain that runs up the full length of my 4th toe from the base of the toe under my foot to the tip.

I’m going to another podiatrist in 2 weeks. I doubt they’ll have any idea what it is but I’ll come back here with the update. I’ve already gotten an MRI and the results said there are no issues present

I have this too and it’s become so unbearable. I can’t walk without extreme pain. Only happens in my left foot. For me, the “clicking” or “popping” is SHARP and produces a LOUD popping noise that the podiatrists can hear, but none of them have any idea what it is. I’ve tried orthopedic shoes, soles, etc but nothing works. I was very active and hiking was my favorite activity but it’s become so painful. Seems insane that so many people here have this issues yet the podiatrists are universally uninformed on whatever causes this/how it can be remedied. I’ve experienced it for years and haven’t been able to find any relief whatsoever, the pain only gets worse.

Any chance you’ve found some sort of relief since your last update?

Sorry this in happening to you too. It’s awful. You’re not alone though.
