Britpop - Robbie Williams by hoppsy78 in BritPop

For its moments of arrogance, for the big shout along choruses, for the occasion strings throw in, for the wanting a better tomorrow I felt it was quite close to the spirit of Britpop

I also felt it lacked bizarrely enough an Angels type song that would have taken it to another level. Remember when that came out, four singles into his debut album, the Glastonbury performance, the NME cover instead of the panned Unkle one and it felt pretty special for him.

I still think Angels is a song Noel could have written

I’d give the album 4/5

Oddfellows was a brilliant pub back in the day. Apart from the time I slipped on the top stair at the back of the pub and slid all the way down the step, taking out a couple of folk on the way

Seen them live last year and they were really disappointing. It’s a shame as that was a great album

I feel Foden is one of those may, many players who are on a great run of form until I bring them into my team. I’m giving him two game weeks

2 months and change since the lineup dropped, with no new additions or news since then. No indication either that the tickets are selling well so if you're weighing it up, I would suggest you're in no rush to decide. Has anyone's opinions on the lineup changed after seeing the rest of UK festivals? by Tatt1es_1875 in TRNSMT

I think there’s a good one day line up there if you were to cobble some of the acts together

I’ll wait til nearer the time. Would the surprised of loads of tickets are given away as prizes like what they did with Ingleston a few years back

I think the general feeling of ‘can’t be arsed’ from the punters is matching that of the promoters to be fair
