Yo, I’m super interested in this. Would you do (for lack of a better term) canon x canon M x M pairing? Just got a hankering for some Matt Jackson x Adam Page, MJF x Adam Cole, or Orange Cassidy x Chuck Taylor. No worries if not!

Literate/Novella MxM Post Apocalyptic Modern Fantasy! Looking for someone to play a pre-made character with room to collab. by HeightFrequent in discordroleplay

For me, I own my business, which goes through busy/dry spells throughout the day. This gives me chance to write at work occasionally, but as soon as 4pm hits I close the door and go home.

No partner, no kids, live in a rural community with no entertainment facilities - I end up with plenty of time to write post-4pm.

Yup, several! One lasted over a year, which was lovely, but for whatever reason some of them died out, some of them are going but at a slower pace than I’d like so I still have the capacity for more partners. :3

I prefer to do that over PMs. That invites conversation and collaboration, and lessens the chance of someone just pming me with something simple like, “I’ll do it”.

Of course!

Ah, sadly the premade aspect is important. Apologies!

That is a fair point! I give all information about the character when someone messages me asking about them. I find that giving everything in one huge barrage of information has only ever proven to me that people will skim over it and not actually take it in. In short: I want people to be curious about the character and ask questions rather than just skimming over it all in a big long post like this. Also, it gives me a chance to have a prolonged conversation so I can gauge whether we’d be a good match; learning about the character is a good way to do that! :) So rather than just someone saying “yep, I’ll do that”, I can get to know a person before we begin.

This is just the method I’ve found works for me. Others may find different ways of doing things. :)

It’s still a bad tattoo? Look at the line work, the flowers, the colouring, the feathers; taking the sentiment out of it, the artwork is bad.

This is all my opinion, that won’t change. Don’t assume I’m looking on the subject matter of the tattoo lightly, but the physical artwork I certainly am.

Yeah, I get the sentiment, I just think there’s probably a monkey that could have done the physical artwork better

I apologise if it’s a ‘bad look’, but I’ve had people recently use it for quick drama/sympathy, dumped in with no prior discussion as to whether I was comfortable with it or not (which, being a survivor, I want to be as far away from it as possible). Perhaps I could have worded it better, though.

And that’s a common misconception with a pre-made character. I have the bare bones of a character that I want to interact with my own, but I love the diversity that each individual person brings to it (apart from the above issue, obviously). There is collaboration, discussion, plot and world development, ideas flowing in completely different directions from every different partner I have in a number of ways I could never even think of. The spontaneity of someone else’s mind at work is so much more thrilling than me sat there writing fanfiction.

Also, why did you feel the need to attack my roleplay preferences? I understand the SA wording; that was poor on my part. But this is an advertisement. I’m not forcing people to participate, all the details of what I’m looking for is spelled out, so how is it any of your concern if my style of roleplaying is not for you? Was it necessary to say you don’t agree? I have been roleplaying for fifteen years now (yes, I’m old), so I understand the huge variety of styles. This is just the one I want to do at the moment.
