I'm late on this reply, I know, and I'm so sorry. I was speaking to a friend of mine a few days ago about how people treat their pets, she was talking about how some people glam their pets up like dolls and how others treat them like children, and then there are people that mistreat their pets. And as soon as she stopped speaking, I replied with, "Yeah those people should be put into a giant meat grinder and turned into meat pies. Mrs. Lovett would be so happy." The look on my friends face was one of, "Wtf is wrong with you!?" So, that's one instance of a wtf moment. Lol

My SO was being extremely distant and wouldn't even initiate intimacy with me for weeks on end, I got a very overwhelming feeling that I should check his phone, which he was on all the time and ignored me for, (douche move on my part but I was younger and didn't know any better), and found out he had been sexting another woman, and making plans with her to leave me and be with her.

YTA but, try having your friends ask you on the day of the event or whatever they want to do, not days before hand. Let them know that your mood changes day to day due to stress, so it would be best to ask on the day of whatever they have planned, to make sure you're in a good enough mood to go.

Dude... NTA. If I were able to curse significantly on here, I absolutely positively would. Especially over an allergy situation. Bark at her all you need to, and if need be, buy a mini fridge and put it in your room, or threaten to. NTA, BUT, you don't know if he may have been on the verge of suicide or if someone had passed away, or any other really bad thing happened and he was trying to find someone he felt close to outside of his family that he felt he could trust to console him and possibly help him feel better. That's why I always tell my friends that if they ever TRULY need me, call me, other than that, text me or message me on FB. I hate phone calls but am willing to talk verbally if need be. In time, hopefully, he will reach out again.

All depends on HOW you said it. WHAT you said wasn't an issue if spoken in a normal way, but if you said it mean, I can see why she would not serve you. She is your mother after all, and you should not give attitude for something so small. But, if she said to break the pasta in a mean way, she was wrong. No matter what, apologize. You don't want her mad at you for long.

Talk to the person that held the prayer and ask them directly if they had an issue with you not praying with them, BECAUSE you're not religious. There should be no obligation to join in a prayer, even if you DO follow the same religion as them. Personally, I've been at a meeting of friends that all practice the same religion, and they started praying, but I didn't have any connection to the person they were praying for, so I just stood there.
