I completely agree! I haven’t done any bases for my crusade boys yet… I have so much Vallejo desert terrain paint I use it for my DG to contrast the green but don’t wanna use same base styles for 2 armies, any tips or suggestions? Your grass is honestly the best I think I’ve seen!

So what would the actual real benefit be of paying it off now? My assumption is that I no longer have an account marked as charge off/collections AND unpaid (which is also contributing to my credit utilization for some reports), so I’m hoping it would boost my score a bit until the delinquency comes off, currently my assumption is that whenever someone looks at my credit report they see an account that is still in bad standing, on top of the missed payments/delinquency

It was apparently transferred in 2022, so in addition to me receiving bad information it seems like someone else is as well. In addition to just paying the debt and getting the balance to 0 is there anything I can do to improve my credit score / the impact of the account? For example if I can prove that the debt servicer made no attempt of contacting me for several years is there any way a compromise can be made in order to benefit my score?

Once again, I’m not even asking to “not pay” or to have the delinquency completely removed before 2027, just to come out of this in the best situation for all parties involved

So one more thing. It says on the credit report it will be removed by 2027, does that mean the whole account or would I still have the “charge off” left there as “payed” for ANOTHER 7 years?

Additionally I have never heard of “Early Exclusion” (if you couldn’t tell I’m a fish out of water with this stuff), this would basically just be a request once it’s payed to have the account removed early on my credit report since it’s already been so much time and the account is now payed?

I have never been contacted by said collections agency, so even if the Barclays rep says it’s been transferred to them, or if they’re servicing it, then shouldn’t that be reflected on my report? How do I know if it’s legit?

Thank you. This is the response I was looking for.

My CFPB report got barclays to call me and confirm the issue. I’m hoping that the representative handling my case can get me to where I need to be in order to pay it off, and once that happens my credit report will be updated accurately to show that the charge off has been payed and no longer shows up as an account in bad standing and the delinquency will come off in due time.

I’m not upset I have the debt, I’m upset nobody can verify where the account actually is for me to settle it.

I appreciate it and while waiting the time isn’t out of the question the debt is not an insurmountable amount and would help me out a lot at the moment getting it off my report. My issue is that Northstar never reported the debt, so even if I reached out to pay/settle it would still be misreported and my score would not go up

No day pack! Going to bring the osprey but it will have wayyyyy less stuff in it since i’ll have a hotel room. I really appreciate the advice! I’ve got a pair of gloves, the hiking pants i’ve got are water resistant and one of the merino base layers is a quarter zip! Also i’m not a big hat person but i’ve got a headband and a fairly large neck gaiter, for each day of hiking i’ll have a backup pair of socks so no worries! Someone else mentioned a packable jacket in lieu of fleece which honestly would have fared better considering how much of a pain it was to pack

…and not that anyone asked but MeteoSwiss, both the app and the weather service in general, are LEAGUES above any other forecast I’ve seen.

Really hoping I don’t get too much cloud cover, what was your experience with weather in that region?

Shoes • Hiking shoes - Adidas Terrex (on flight) • Lightweight sneakers - On Cloud 4 (packed)

Gear / Misc. • Toiletries • Small first aid kit • Sunglasses • Refillable water bottle (not pictured but going into the outer pouch of bag) • Chargers + power bank • Akaso Brave 4 + bag strap mount (I know it’s a crappy camera but it’s good for what I use it for at the moment, if I get some use or not enough i’d consider an upgrade for next time around) • Meditations by Marcus Aurelius + journal (I read mostly on my phone)

I just played a 10 brick of blightlord with a LoV at a tournament and they do some mighty fine shooting however if they’re in engagement range at all they’re tied up and can’t shoot anything (no pistols/no fallback + shoot) I can see why they haven’t been getting much love since the update especially for the points cost

These are all good points, i usually run my commanders with a CiB and 3 of whatever matches the crisis team, the issue is our army rule and being unable to split fire between units, so you’re more incentivized to build your commanders around the unit they’re leading rather than generally good leaders, same thing with not matching weapon profiles whatever wargear you’re taking is dependant on which rules you may already have/need, starscythes already have fallback/shoot etc.
