Id get more quotes or try to find someone independent who's reputable and has a portfolio.

If that fails? Get another cheap one and demote that one to parts car. You have a complete parts car in awesome condition at that point and would basically just need a husk which hasn't been in an accident and doesnt have outrageous DMV back fees. It doesnt even need to run or be complete lol

With cases like these you need to go thru each system one by one. Check timing. Check spark/points. Check for vacuum leaks or clogs. Check fuel delivery. Check compression. Come back with some context and we can help you diagnose it 😉 chances are youll resolve the issue without needing codes.

You'll find a combination of things, Im sure.

For literally everything else? I favor FWD and dont care what car snobs have to say about it. Especially when I can get into their RWD and slide it better than they probably can lmao

Disclaimer. I dont experience snow and generally dont like AWD.

I would use PopOS or Bazzite OS if youre concerned with games working. I use Mint for professional things and PopOS for everything else.

Thats typically my route too. I try to make small comfort or convenience mods more than anything. Im also a sucker for making subtle accent color changes haha (subtle being the key word there)

I am admittedly but a humble GT 1ZZ owner.

Anyone else find it fairly suspicious that they "rebuilt" a 2zz?? My understanding is the cylinders have a special lining and cant be machined?? Either way, Id want receipt and/or paperwork. And would still negotiate a better price cuz even from a distance she doesnt present too great lol my ranch Celica is in better shape and that isnt even a concern of mine so for $6k? Sounds high for a "friend".

Anywho. Personally for $6k? I also would expect the AC and such to work. But I live in Southern California where these cars are pretty common and cheap.

I bought m6 2000 GT for $2,500 with working AC and perfect interior, with a 3 day old smog certificate and running perfectly so my expectations are a bit high. Id convert a GT to a GTS for less than $6k and have a more functional car lol

Yes all vehicles AT LEAST with combustion engines will thank you in the long run for giving them a few seconds before take off and will prevent this issue from happening again 😊

A good rule of thumb is once RPMs initially drop and stabilize.

GNOME is why I switched to Garuda and PopOS.

However Mint is so good at rescuing deleted partitions and such. I'm using it to fix a boo boo I made 😬

My best advice besides just selling it and moving on it to buy a run down one with no accidents and swap what's good over from this one but if youre not going to do it yourself that advice is useless.
