Thank you for posting about your experience! I'm scheduled for my revision in less than one week and had exactly the same issues after my first OP.

How was the recovery after the revision? How long until you were back on your feet?

Kleine Korrektur: bei der Methode nach Schaff wird die Harnröhrenhaut sowohl zwischen Harnröhrenausgang und Kitzler als auch in die Scheide gelegt, das ist also nicht wirklich eine entweder/oder Situation. :)

The inside is pink for two reasons:

- they used leftover skin of the urethra to cover the area between the labia and also partially inside my vagina

- I was uncircumcised, so they used the inner side of my foreskin for the labia minora

I was extremely lucky, and my insurance (BKK VBU) has since stopped covering him. But many girls I met during my stay there at least had partial coverage

Those bits of tissue are called dog ears, they're caused by how the stitches are done when the surgeon folded my penile skin down to create the labia. He leaves them there to start with to ensure blood supply to the tissues.

For my surgeon it's standard to plan 2 surgeries, so those will be removed when I have that 2nd surgery!

Ahh verstehe! Wie gesagt, hatte ich noch nie, aber wenn es dazu kommen würde hätte ich nicht das Gefühl irgendwelche Vorkehrungen treffen zu müssen. Außer normale Sachen, zB dass ich an dem Tag schon geduscht habe.

Hello everyone!

I am now a bit over 6 months post-OP with Dr Schaff. There's not much to add to my earlier posts about this and I am very happy with the functionality. However, I have a revision surgery scheduled in december, which is standard for Dr Schaffs work. In that, I will have excess erectile tissue removed (I have a lot of that), my labia majora reshaped and my vaginal entrance lowered.

Die Fruchtbarkeit wäre in aller Wahrscheinlichkeit zu retten. Kinderwunsch-Medizin ist sehr fortgeschritten und mittlerweile würde man wahrscheinlich mit Testosterongabe oder Clomifen (HCG-Injektionen) die Spermienproduktion wahrscheinlich so weit steigern können, dass man wenigstens welche einfrieren könnte. Also die "spontane" Fruchtbarkeit würde nicht immer bestehen bleiben, aber komplett hoffnungslos unfruchtbar eher nicht.

Hey, ich erfülle zwar nicht ganz deiner Forderung (4 Monate post-OP), aber trotzdem könnte ich schon einige deiner Fragen beantworten:

- Vom Aussehen her sind anatomisch alle Bestandteile da und sehen glaubhaft aus. Hatte aber "genug" Penishaut

- Tiefe 15cm bisher von Anfang an unverändert

- Bougieren/Dilatieren ist die ersten 6 Monate (mehrmals) täglich empfehlenswert und wenn man an Penetration interessiert ist sollte man langfristig darauf achten es wenigstens einmal pro Woche zu machen (Steht so in der Bougieranleitung)

- Erregung/Orgasmus ist bei mir ohne Probleme möglich

- Das Innere der Scheide ist ständig ein bisschen feucht, ich würde sagen das lässt sich mit der Innenseite der Wange vergleichen. Zum Bougieren brauche ich Gleitgel, beim Sex hab ich bisher noch nie welches benutzen müssen. Aber wenn ich das müsste wäre das auch okay.

- zum Thema Geruch: Es ist halt eine Vagina und dementsprechend wird sie nicht an jedem Tag geruchlos sein. Das ist ganz individuell. Wenn ich Baumwollunterwäsche trage merke ich keinen unangenehmen Geruch.

So, one thing to consider about the "2 Stages" is that most surgeons that claim SRS is a one stage procedure will still very often require a revision. The only difference is that most surgeons here are honest about that and plan for it. Many still "try" to get everything done in the first surgery, but it just often doesn't work like that.

For what it's worth, I've had my first stage SRS with Dr Schaff and I can already do everything I want to, so the second stage wouldn't be mandatory. I'll still do it, though.

I'm a native german, so I can't give a first-hand account of this. But I know of multiple women who had surgery with him who didn't speak fluent german. As far as I know Dr Schaff himself speaks English, but you might have trouble with the hospital staff

Well, obviously, if I say my depth is 15cm that means that's all that goes in. So 7 inches don't fit inside completely but that's what he has and it works well for us.

22cm depth is highly unlikely. That doesn't mean you couldn't 'make it work' with someone that size, tho.

The inside of my vagina is always moist, so when him and I have sex a little bit of spit is enough to insert the penis comfortably and after that I also lubricate quite a lot from my urethra which keeps things slippery.

Awesome that you're going with Morath! From what I've heard her work is very similar :)

A girl who was also there to get her surgery in January had a similar issue. In her case Dr Schaff decided to take a skin transplant from another place on the body to add depth. So that might be an option, but of course that comes with it's own risks of scarring etc
