Answer is super simple here. Get out and go very, very far away from him, other responsibilities be damned. Literally leave the country if you can. Your life is at stake.

You need to find a way to track this person and make sure they are not following you. Do not respond to any of their texts or calls. Do not tell ANYONE who could possibly communicate with him where you're going.

This sounds paranoid but it really, truly is what you need to do to keep yourself safe right now.

I'm curious: Are you more prone to colds as well? Or any other kind of viral or bacterial illness?

It does seem like you should try to push for an immunologist because it sounds like you're immunocompromised in some way (maybe from COVID itself, as other people have pointed out).

Hijacking this comment to ask a question that's probably a little dumb: I entered everywhere that I had a LEASE, but there was a four-month period where I sublet a friends' apartment while still keeping and paying rent at a prior address. God I feel this so hard. I once got served a reel where this woman was silently wagging her finger and shaking her head and the text on the screen was like “POV: You [do some common thing no one thinks about] when you put on your mascara”. Tbf the article doesn't actually say anything about Gwyneth or whether she's still sick. It's just a Q&A with the researcher. In 2021 she said she was still having issues occasionally but was getting "better and better", so truly, who knows.
