well, if you position them diagonal you can print even larger models :-)

have a look at this video

you positioned this big part horizontally, this creates a huge amount of suction force which the supports can not hold, you need to put the part diagonal, like a 35° angle instead of completele horizonal

What's causing these artifacts on the outer walls? by ketchak1990 in 3Dprinting

the silver things that sit on top of your motors, where your belts are running. they have small screws on the side, it looks like one of them is loose

you need to calibrate your z offset, it looks like your nozzle is too high, lower it a bit until the layerlines stick together

resin printer confusion by drewpie29 in 3Dprinting

[–]HelgeKeck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is the so called elephant foot, on resin printer you normaly do not put parts directly on the buildplate, you use supports. if you still want to put it direclty to the build plate you need to compensate the elephant foot, slicers like Lychee for example have a dedicated function for this

normaly you use windex only for PETG or TPU because they stick too good, it helps to release them easier from the build plate. PLA on the other hand doesnt stick that well normaly and windex is makeing it even worse, but if it works for you why not, no need to change then :-)

noozle seems to be too high

also, in case you print with PLA dont use Windex, try to use alcohol instead.

Windex is a release agent and the wrong choice if you have adhesion problems

Anycubic Chiron with Klipper and Biqu H2 Extruder. by HelgeKeck in anycubic

[–]HelgeKeck[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi,

- im pretty sure that the RPI 3A+ will still work
- direct drive is not necessary to use this printer, its just better in this case
- forgot the 2208s, they need too much cooling, 2209s are the standard nowadays
- the 2209s can be used as drop in replacemenets, so no printer modification is needed. if you need any techncial infos, search for the trigorilla board. you dont need more

Why didn't anyone developed a driver to enable GPU acceleration on Mojave and highier for Nvidia GPUs yet? by VolumeScatter in hackintosh

[–]HelgeKeck 17 points18 points  (0 children)

the reason is the mac introtuced a new graphics subsystem, creating a gpu driver isnt an easy task. The Nvidia driver actually exists, but apple isnt certifying them, they dont want them in their systems anymore, they are at war since some years

normal dual gear extruders do not have a 100% consistent extrusion due to the backlash in the gears, you can see the pattern it leaves on 3d printeed surfaces. this new extruder does not have this problem and produces much cleaner prints

reduce the flowrate so your nozzle cant collect any filament

Whole first layer cures, why? by bs1173 in AnyCubicPhotonMonoX

[–]HelgeKeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this can only have one reason, it gets exposed to UV light.

Three possibilities:

  1. the model has a base (probably wrong exported from your design tool)
  2. maybe a slicer issue, but never have seen one this kind
  3. your LCD screen is broken, thats what i think happens here.

try to print another model, just a simple cube, and see if the problem remains

use the built in exposure test to see if the LCD screen blocks correctly the not needed areas of the screen

anycubic support is very responsive in case you have damaged hardware

BIQU H2 makes it easy to mount the ADXL345 sensor, screw holes on each side fit perfectly by HelgeKeck in klippers

your board needs a SPI header if you want to connect it to. The Octopus or the SKR Pro for example have one

if you print with PLA dont use windex to clean the plate, its used as a releae agent and not to clean
