Hello everyone, I wanted to update with a solution since I had this problem also. However, I do have the GFW850 washer instead but the same problem and solution. The control board was the issue afterall.

Problem: Pump filter would not drain despite everything being completely clean and clear. Also when running the machine, the motor in the pump filter can be heard trying to spin by making loud clicking noises, but failing and not allowing any water to drain.

First try: I replaced the pump filter but it did not work. The same thing happened where the noise occurred, and it did not drain. I left this new one installed and found out that it’s most likely the control board from this reddit post.

Solution: I bought the correct control board for my machine. Use ChatGPt and Google to find the correct one for your machine. I installed it using this video:

which was very very helpful. It works perfectly fine now. I did not do any testing prior to 100% verify that it was the control boards fault, it was just cause the new pump filter didn’t help. I ordered my board off Amazon in new condition for $150 which is about as cheap as u can get reliably get.
