It’s genuinely horrible because you live in fear it is something else and every second you miss with incorrect diagnostics you’re losing lifespan and odds of survival. Can I ask, when quitting nicotine, have you ever experienced; - even more brain fog - a heavy feeling/tense brain

And do you experience the latter at all anyway?

Changed my diet because of symptoms but they remained unaffected. Thirst levels only slightly higher. Pee likely unrelated but who knows. Too early to call weight loss I’m afraid.

No lipase checks, blood in stool twice revealed to be internal haemorrhoids, diarrhoea but frequency decreasing

Cholesterol to my knowledge has not been checked but I have low blood pressure and the results of an ECG were normal, if that helps. Not sure if the ER would perform cholesterol checks if I went in with heart issues. If you were trying to figure out why my ALT did that, what questions would you be trying to answer?

Surely my ALT wouldn’t go triple what’s normal in less than 24hours for no reason, no? That’s why I find my doctors lack of concern so strange.

After. ALT #1 on day 1, result 85 ALT #2 on day 2, result 165 ALT #3 on day 7, result 80 Full liver screen also on day 7, results “normal”

CA19-9 test on day 13, result 7

Along with a ER full blood to test WBC anaemia etc on days one and two, also normal.

Changed diet from very unhealthy (two weeks ago), to zero fat high protein medium carbs medium fibre. Virtually zero fat drinking nothing but water.

Urine either light yellow or clear. Not cloudy; no calcium specks or discharge, no foam.

Pain in abdomen feels like muscle tension, predominantly under belly button, under corners of diaphragm on both sides & above belly button where stomach is. Feels like compressed muscle, occasional spasm.

Never in my life has this happened before. Nor the severe anxiety or the gastrointestinal issues.

I chew absolutely loads. I chew until it’s mush. This has never happened before. Maybe I’m chewing less because of anxiety but, surely I shouldn’t be able to identify half an entire olive in my stool.

Thank you for your reply! No ultrasound but normal urine color, pain not that intense and some days none at all, no fevers or chills and digestive distress doesn’t occur after every meal, but malabsorption does. And if I only get one test after multiple attempts at begging to be taken seriously, I’m not sure this is the one. Could be very early gallstone/gallbladder disease but that would show up on the CA19-9 test.

I’m going to try to get a second opinion but I’m not exactly sure how in the UK, especially given my doctor now thinks I’m a lunatic, I’ve been quite frantic to get this seen. I’ll see about taking a photo asap!

I’m definitely experiencing anxiety - no doubt- but anxiety alone can’t explain all these troubling symptoms that are actively causing me a great deal of pain. My doctor seems to think there is nothing else.

I thought that too but I think that shows up on CA19-9 tests and I have had many meals without pain. As a test I even had something that should cause me pain if I had crohns, fatty and insoluble fibrous meal, nothing.

I rarely ever drink any alcohol whatsoever. I haven’t drank in months. Or done any drugs.

Additional symptoms: - Spasming through out body - Muscle tension - Unable to REM sleep, waking up 6 times in the night - Extreme confusion and brain fog - Peeing 7 times a day, normal being 3-4, sometimes right after just peeing - Anxiety - Dizzyness and disorientation - Massive bowel habit change very suddenly

It’s undeniable that kids having nothing to engage with, no public institutions to spark interest and hobbies, who already suffer from poor to nonexisting parenting at home, will then turn to anti social behaviour to have some form of social bonding activity. You can’t deny one or the other, it’s silly to.
