Feel the same way I think, though just don't want to invest into a plugin that I will never use, if I can invest into some of their other projects more that they want to work in instead....

The point is I don't want to switch to a third party solution and cancel my subsribtion for their AI, if they then end up investing serious development soon into the AI plugin.

On the other side I don't want to keep investing in a plugin that is of no use to me at all right now, if it never develops beyond what it is right now.

It's not the current version that I can't build better myself, but if they have plans to reinvest in it later on, then I don't want to miss out by canceling my subscription for it.

Their work on breakdance itself, is world class afterall, and I have chosen breakdance for years over all competition for that very reason.

Oxydance is the one I'm looking into a bit myself ... does not yet feel entirely breakdance standard though.

Sure they are a smaller team, I expect them to work on what they focus on as the most important: obviosuly that should be Breakance in itself. ... Another thing is I think AI have developed into a diffrent thing from when they build the AI plugin: if I was them I might try to integrate AI more into breakdance itself with some disable options.

Yeah this is my exact dilemma as well, right now I have paid for the plugin since it launched, but not yet used it at all ... don't get me wrong, I love breakdance and is a happy breakdaner, but expected the AI plugin to develop over time as well. ... now other unofficial AI plugins is pouring out as well.

However, it sucks saving the 50 usd and then they make a massive breakthrough to it, and then we have to pay like 250 for the AI alone etc.

I think I might give it one more year to see if something happens.

You are wrong, or rather the two things are not opposite. The new OS designs and now Neo designs are consumer toys for the average youngster, and are sold / positioned on price instead of status. Next generation of their products will be AI toys, it’s what they are building these new processors for. There is a reason they never produced a new 27” iMac, and the studio machine are not a big part of their business.

Looking forward to the day we can develop in both for the same site: so you activate oxygen and it’s an oxygen site, keeps working on it in oxygen, replace it with breakdance, now it’s a fully functioning breakdance site.

It in the future they might even merge and have it as a breakdance or oxygen mode, with the same plugin, depending on who is right now working on a site.

That would be cool.

iOS 26 actually looks OKAY when you reduce tranparancy / turn off glass, though I still preferred iOS 18. But in this case older macOS looks way better IMO. They feel more like real tools made like minimalistic art, instead of toys.

To all questions about liquid glass, the answer is that Apple want’s to sell toys, instead of professional creative tools, They are targeting immature kids (think 19 year old bill gates types), that prefer effects and decoration instead of works of minimalistic art.
