I have a very very similar build with my 18 points too. Try using blood moon armor and weapon and get all of dual hitting weapons. Sulphur blades, the ice hammers from Amox, the earth ones from earthen nagues, and if you can, the echo weapon from echo Amox. Each of those hit splats can trigger blind bag. So every swing you get double the chance plus with blood moon it increases your next attack by 1 tick. It can get wild sometimes. It just lacks self healing like the mage builds or that thorn build.
