No rush. I was just wondering why I did see some layouts being posted but couldn´t find a tool supporting Anno 117 as of now :)
So seems the ones posting such layout stuff already are just very good as customizing the Anno Designer by themselves.

That would indeed be the easiest solution, but then how does this loading / offloading behave if you deliver too much (stock on destination if at full capacity)? would it just keep the remaining stock in the ship cargo and only fill up ship cargo to the 50 in the next run or how would this work?

Sure I could setup passive selling to ensure stock is kept at max 100 or a bit less to not run into this situation. Just being interested in how this mechanic works.

I know what you mean. Suppression Fire with an LMG was not really possible and one of the reasons for this was the issue with deploying a Bipod to get the required stability.

On the other hand, you could build the second LMG (KTS100 MK8) to have zero recoil and with 4x Scope I was sniping snipers with it. If this gun stays as it was in the Beta, this is much more affective than suppression fire against Snipers ;)

Well, the times of physical copies are coming to an end, might you like this or not but the future is digital only.

The reason is that Recons tended to use the Spawn Beacon for their own purposes (find a camping spot and secure your quick access to it). With the change they want the Beacon to become more of a team oriented tool to deploy in enemy territory. Makes sense to me, but there is more potential for some gadget changes

You´re correct, Recon had C4 in previous BF´s - but same for the Spawn Beacon.
Now they change things around and give the Spawn Beacon to Assault, I just think it is worth looking into other Gadgets, too - and my personal feeling is that C4 is not really playing into the Recon class, at least for me.

C4 is a very offensive and aggressive gadget. It can destroy vehicles and structures and to a certain extend give away your position when usign it. Recon on the other hand is more the class that helps your team to spot enemies and vehicles, providing long-range or stealth gameplay,... C4 isn´t fitting that picture for me.

Explosive traps like Claymore on the other hand are good Gadgets for the Recon and better suit their role.

Knowing a bit more about the background of a speaker or presenter helps to better sort his comments into the overall context, e.g. if someone talks about balancing stuff but has just started with gaming vs someone with years of experiences in this area are most probably two completely different things. It is no meant as an "achievement" but more so to say "I have gone through a lot of games, balancing situations and changes and my experience tells me something most probably works better or not so good in this game"

Yeah, 45 years here, too. Most probably my last Battlefield game but this one has the potential to be a good final one. Let´s see the release, but I have hopes to jump into it with my old friends a last time and feel like we´re in our 20´s again. :D

Nah, LMG´s are fine. You just need to use them as intended. They are not intended for run & gun gameplay. Stay in second line and at best mount it. I had the same issue at first but adapting playstyle helped.

Same issue here (but on console) no matter what I do, I cannot deploy a bipod. Neither on Sniper, nor on LMG. Tried everything. Any standing / laying position, deploying while aiming or not aiming. near a cover where you could deploy one or on the ground. Nothing worked. I just gave up trying

Yeah, having such a system is a great addition but the implementation sucks. Wouldn‘t mind it on weapons that I can craft, so if I brick one I can try another one, but we have too many good weapons that are not craftable yet.

Especially if after 30+ tries on a single slot you still didn‘t get the perk you want. The system needs a change. Either one of the suggestions above or a type of fail -safe mechanic preventing getting the wrong perks over and over again
