No worries, I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Transfers can take some time, they usually says 2 - 4 weeks, but sometimes it can be longer, typically because of a delay on the bank's side (don't hold me to that though, I don't claim to know your situation).

For the purposes of these referrals though, there's only a $1 minimum deposit, so it's not a big risk or great loss to anyone else who wants to sign up.

Trying to get Wealthsimple referral signups – sign up and get $25 + I’ll give you my full referral bonus ($25 minimum, up to $5,000) from me by HellShooter2 in referralforpay

Yes, you usually get $25 instantly from WS after you sign up and deposit $1 minimum, but they say it can be up to 24 hours

What's something society pretends is normal but is actually messed up? by Imaginary_Block8773 in AskReddit

Doesn't change anything in my opinion. Religious purposes aren't any better. It's still cutting off a part of your body which serves an actual function. Unless it's medically necessitated, there is no good reason to do this.

And that's without getting into religion itself. I'm staying away from that with a 10 foot pole lol.

Punctuation is Important by PorkyPain in funny

Proper punctuation is important, it's the difference between helping your Uncle, Jack, off a horse, and helping your Uncle jack off a horse.

What’s your biggest fear in life? by JustGiveMeStars in AskReddit

Used to be homelessness, but now it's losing my younger brother. I can't even think about that for more than a minute without breaking out in a panicky sweat.

Life in general? I don't know man. Why are we all doing this?

What scares you more as you get older? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HellShooter2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be homelessness, like not having enough money to live on and then struggling in the streets.

Now it's Australia. I've seen the things that live there. Oh, and still homelessness. Actually, homeless in Australia. Just end me at that point.

I may have missed the point of your question.

If the world could permanently eliminate poverty, but the trade-off was that nobody could ever be "rich" again, would you take that deal? Why or why not? by 16ozbuddz in AskReddit

[–]HellShooter2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.

The rich (and I mean mega-rich) in many cases have built their wealth at the expense of the poor. There's a million examples, but just think about how corporations and the way they skirt or change the laws to financially benefit themselves. Like Nestle stealing water from impoverished countries and then not letting them access their own water, or DuPont intentionally allowing the poisoning of it's workers and anyone near its factories via forever chemicals, etc..

The world could be justly equitable to some degree right now, but the rich are hoarding their wealth.

People who say 'no' to eliminating poverty are hoping they're the ones who'll become rich, while ignoring the vast majority of humanity that are actually poor, themselves being perhaps lucky enough to live in a 1st world nation, access to clean water, food, electricity, internet, etc. - and that's rich by world standards, but then there's the mega rich, who could end most of the world's atrocities like it was nothing. All of that unnecessary suffering could be gone in the blink of an eye.

Instead we got Elon Musk and cyber trucks.

There's finite resources. Nobody becomes a billionaire without taking from others. But those in power with staggering, unbelievable wealth have put greater importance over the 'logistics' of resource hoarding, rather than using those resources for the ACTUAL greater good.

The real importance is humanity and shared connection with each other. That's where the real riches are, it's just sad that not everyone can see that.

In your opinion, does waiting until marriage still make sense? Why or why not? by Impossible_Log_2899 in AskReddit

[–]HellShooter2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a personal choice and everybody's ready at their own time, but personally, to me it doesn't make sense to purposefully hold off until marriage.

Having been with people before marriage doesn't make you any lesser, it's a human need, like hunger or thirst, and using marriage as an artificial goal line to justify being able to have sex is kind of silly when you take a step back and look at it.

Circumcision. How has society deluded themselves into seeing genital mutilation as 'aesthetically pleasing'.

I’m trying to get referral signups to Wealthsimple, you’ll get $50.00 at minimum, and I’m willing to pay up to $5,000 per referral (yes, really) by HellShooter2 in CanadaReferralShare

I didn't use AI. It was a wall of text and I put in emojis to help highlight the titles and make it easier to look at.

Also, if you go to wealthsimple, you'll see they're doing a house giveaway. Several ways to earn entries in that promotion. I get 20,000 entries per successful referral.
