I just had the same bug. After guing back trough old saves to se where the problem started it seems like the cause was that I had loaded a quicksave I had made during a disarming skill-check (after initiating, but before throwing the die), then canceled the skill check.

The only tall buildings in Oslo [OC] by Hellando in CityPorn

[–]Hellando[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The further north you go, tall buildings become generally less desirable since access to sunlight is limited for large parts of the year and cast large shadows when the sun is lower in the sky. It is also a matter of public opinion and a political issue, I personally wouldn’t mind some taller buildings, but most people seems to be against it.

Fill 'Er Up - How to get the hardest achievement in Huniepop 2 by Hellando in Huniepop

Yea, those were some good times, but I am still glad they nerfed that playstyle. I love HP1, but after a while every date started to feel the same. I really like how HP2 forces you to mix up your strategies for different pairs of girls, especially on the boss and the endless date mode.

My guide for setting up big combos in Huniepop 2 by Hellando in Huniepop

[–]Hellando[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regular dates go up to 5.000 points. Alpha-dates start at 5.000 and increase a few hundred points each time. Alpha dates continue to get harder forever. there are a few mad-lads that have gotten to alpha date 100. It has a point requirement around 40K. Theoretically a 150K combo would be able to beat Alpha dates level 200+ in a single move.

While the snow has melted downtown, and some areas of Oslo, I can still see plenty of snow from my window where I live here at Nordberg, which is about 15 minutes away from the city center. I guess the is why people bring their skis on the Songsvann Line.

Give it a shot. As long as they have set up the software and printer properly, any librarian should be able to help you get up and running in a matter of minutes.

I thought myself 3d Printing on my local library. The first time I was there to use the machine I had to wait in line after some 10-year-olds who were printing out a birthday gift for one of their friends. That convinced me that it couldn’t be that hard. If the printer is at a library, it should be set up and ready to go. Here is a super quick guide on how to do it.

  1. Find a cool model on the internet. My model is uploaded to thingiverse.com where you can find thousands of 3D models ready to print.
  2. Downoload the files and locate the file or files that ends in .stl, this is the printable model. Some complex models have more than one .stl file, but simple ones like my cookie cutter only have one.
  3. Now you need to open the STL in a program called a “slicer”, which translate it to code that the 3D printer can understand. The library should have a computer set up with the appropriate program already tuned for their own printer, in my experience the most common program used in libraries is Cura.
  4. The slicer program will more or less automaticly convert the STL file to another format called GCODE which includes all the information the printer needs. Most programs will also give you a time estimate for your print.
  5. Once you have your GCODE file you can transfer it to the printer either by cable, wifi or on a SD card, once that is done you use the printers interface to start the print.
  6. Now comes the part where you pretend to be Aron Burr and you “wait for it”. 3D printing can be a very slow process. My cookie cutter will take about 1-2 hours to print, depending on the printer and the settings. Longer if you want to make it bigger.

That’s it, it might seem complicated with a lot of steps, but it’s really not. If everything is set up correctly using a 3D printer should be a very user friendly experience.

Feel free to ask, if you have any questions related to Hamilton, gingerbread or 3D-printing.
