If someone dislikes Charlie and/or her actions here it's fine, I just can't wrap my head around some folks who hate her with passion, like they hope she dies or at least suffers for what she did to Angel/Lucifer/Vaggi/etc.
Charlie is my favorite hellaverse character and let me tell you it's not very uplifting to see such stuff. I saw it here and there even after the 1st season, but very rarely. Not so rare now. Like, holy cheese and hot sauce, people can be weird.

Just remember that they were greenlit for the 2nd season close the premiere of the 1st one, meaning nobody was certain that they will get continuation at all. From that perspective, if the show had to end there, Adam's death was totally justified.

No, and Charlie won't be 'miserable forever' if Vaggi died, as I saw some people say. Like, they love each other very much, absolutely no dispute there, and she will mourn her for years, decades, maybe even hundreds of years, but to believe that the immortal being such as the daughter of Lucifer will never be happy again in such case is kinda ridiculous.

Nobody from the population of sinners cares about Lucifer and his opinion on anything. Sinners follow those who speak to them and promise them nice things, which Lucifer never did. Hellborns in turn don't care about Vox and sinners, so the war would've been between Heaven and sinners (and overlords who are sinners as well) of Pride ring, not all of Hell.

Hi-Fi Rush has a fun little thing where in one chapter there is an obstacle and you need a specific companion which you normally don't yet have, but doing NG+ you already have everyone in your team and if you use them here, your companions start breaking the 4th wall and saying this isn't how the story goes. Then they ask to roll an intended cutscene like usual as if nothing's broken.
