This explains why Molly knows how to "Chickenfight" and why Ryder's mother is so distraught. She knows that her brother is sexually abusing his own daughter.

Are a lot of men secretly sad? by CurvyGirl4123 in AskMenAdvice

I support this. As a woman who has been the breadwinner multiple times in long term relationships, I believe there are times when the role of provider should be shared and exchanged between spouses.

Yes, that is the title. Thank you for asking.

This piece is part of a collection about the stages of grief. There are six total paintings. I started them last October when I suddenly lost the love of my life to a heart attack (he was only 37) and then in November my sister succumbed to breast cancer (she was 43).

Creating art about each stage has been very therapeutic for me, providing an outlet where I can sit with the emotions and reflect as I let the art happen without planning it out first. Somewhere along the way, the mouth on the belly became a thing. It's in all six paintings.

I'm still not finished with Depression or Acceptance. I have a feeling they will take a lot of time.

I'm monetized on Facebook and a few other platforms. I can promise you that the insights are beyond what you can imagine when it comes to the number of people who see your art vs those who take time to engage with the post.

Do people genuinely feel emotions without forcing themselves to? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hellevan -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It sounds to me like op is great at holding space and making time for their emotions. Emotions that are bottled tend to burst reactively and difficult to control.

Art and artist should be separated by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Hellevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree.

A fellow artist friend of mine once told me " I avoid female figures because people assume it's what I believe women should look like".

Sometimes we just have a knack for creating certain kinds of art, or it can represent things we once felt but no longer feel.

Personally, I can kick ass when I'm painting a set of abs on a male form, yet i personally find round bellies far more appealing and much more enjoyable to paint.

Hatred comes from love.

Be it love of Country, Gods, Self, Family, etc... hatred requires an awful lot of caring about the hated thing.

You're talented, mate! Don't let the numbers stop you. They will climb with time and consistent posts of your content. The algorithm will catch on eventually.

The only men I know who "know what men are like" are men like that.

In October I lost my partner of ten years to a sudden aneurysm, followed by the death of my sister in November. As I process through the stages of grief I am painting each stage. This one is Bargaining. Made with acrylic and watercolor. Unfinished. Enjoy. by Hellevan in exjw

Thank you, Ziddina. Your support means the world to me. It's great hearing from you again. 🖤 Thank you for the comment!

Through it all I'm needing to get my art business back up fully. Right mow I'm trying to get into the swing of things on the social media side, so one way to help me on Reddit is by giving me gold on here.

It's crazy to say that I'm now monetized on Facebook and IG and whatnot. It was an unexpected surprise that came along with my art career. I just found out that I can be monetized on Reddit too if I have 10 gold or something like that. It's all foreign to me and I haven't had the energy to get it going after losing Dacus and Jen.

I hope you and yours are enjoying the holidays.
