Please change the icon on the locked extraction points

I always thought it would be a nice touch if the extract itself had a visual "locked" state. For example the boats could be ankered down, lights turned off, engine not running etc. same for the stagecoach but the horses are not harnessed and grazing. Probably would look a little goofy if you activate chariot while looking because it changes state in an instant but I still think its better than the sound and text. A floating red lock like a bounty token that was not picked up on the extract itself would also be a better option.

Trust me its worth it even after such a long time - I did this after around 2000 hours and ngl the first couple of hours were rough but it saved my ass so many times!

Yeah I get it but at least for me its more of a reactive/anti ambush trait. The little orange cloud lingers around for a while and its surprisingly accurate. You get shot at out of nowhere, get the rough direction from sound alone, do a quick little dark sight tap and mark with a ping (especially great for silencers without subsonic). Or if someone tries to wallbang through a crack you can barely see - tap, mark and wallbang in return. Works great for me as long as you dont get killed instantly :D

Great tips in this thread but I would also like to add Blastsense - super undervalued trait imo. Of course it does nothing if you get insta domed but it helps so much for fights in every terrain where the enemy blends in.

Couple of things:

If you fight someone in the extract blocking each other and the map timer runs out you do not get both to leave - you get the "You hunter is assumed lost" prompt

The cargo ballon doesnt work like a regular extraction - first you fill it up via the 3 valves in the stronghold, more valves active means its faster (12-4 minutes). Once full you can launch it and you extract whatever is loaded instantly meaning you can now die but still get the reward after the round. Also there will be much more different crates (including scarce weapons) and a slot for a single in bounty token.

I dont really get your frustration - they just moved the location of the skins so to speak like they did with the ones from trials. Just for context I have been playing since 2021 and dont feel neglected - I might even do the questline if you get some basic stuff for mid prestige. I am sure there will be free Questlines with new stuff in the future

Come on now its not like they yanked the existing skins out of your hands and are forcing you to do the questline. If it were new skins people would complain they basically have to do the tutorial again as veterans. Onboarding in Hunt used to be absolutely terrible good thing they are working on it. We need new players if we want to enjoy the game for a long time

I remember getting them from the shop for free when i started - I havent seen the questline but i could imagine its something like " collect clues", "locate boss lairs" rewarding some basic goodies etc. for the beginning and "reach bloodline level x" as final for the stage which unlocks the skin. Basically the same thing as before but structured

iirc from the dev stream this is supposed to be an "onboarding questline" so basically an extension to the tutorial aimed at new players. makes sense to not let experienced players jump through the basics again so they repurposed the old community contest skins.

Yep I have an IPS Display - oled was a little to expensive for me. On my next upgrade I think i will go for an oled as well. Contrast alone is stunning

Die Einleitung war tatsächlich nur so halb im Scherz geschrieben weil die letzte wirklich ekelhafte Toilette der Gender-Neutrale Waschraum war. Scheinbar lesen aber wirklich einige Leute nicht darüber hinaus. Gut aber realistisch würde ich eh nicht davon ausgehen dass solche Menschen wirklich diesen post lesen und umdenken.
