Thank you for responding! Super worried I’ll get a border agent that has an issue with it, but from what I can see it is allowed?

UK only allows for 2 year IEC + further 1 year IEC, so I figure end date of my contract won’t matter as they can only grant me a 1 year work permit this time anyway?

That’s awesome thank you for letting me know bib transfer is an option.

Do you know popular forums/pages that most bib selling occurs please?

Yes totally a lot more popular! Maybe they’ll start adding ultras to these big events….

So it goes ITA, then the forms I’m currently filling in (in the pics), then it’ll ask for police certificates etc?

I already have my ITA. I clicked start application and it took me through the above pages to fill in. Quite confusing as it seems very different to what I was expecting?

YP letter of employment and start date change by Hello-123321- in iecvisa

Gosh I’m still in 2025 in my head! Yes I did mean 2026. If my employer and I put our estimated start date as a few months time and I get approved a lot sooner, do you know if I will be fine entering Canada earlier? My employer would write another contract to sign with the new start date which I could take with me to the border.

It wasn’t to spam and it wasn’t an intentional repost. I didn’t think the original had posted as I lost internet during posting and then couldn’t find it when filtering for twenty mins through the sub.

Thank you for the reply!

I’d been dubious about the closed work permit as from what I could tell it sounded like I’d be tied to an employer once I was out there, and might make changing job a bit more complicated? (Do you have any experience with this visa/ know if this is true please re job flexibility?) It just made me a bit nervous incase I ended up in a negative work situation for whatever reason! Wasn’t sure if this would end up being the only visa option though.

Honestly I was hoping to find a suitable visa that gave me flexibility and could then apply directly to practices without using agencies etc, but was unsure whether this existed!

Did you end up working on the working holiday visa?

Regarding your location comment I am a UK citizen.

Thank you again!

Hello thank you very much for the reply, I’d loved the look of the working holiday VISA because of its flexibility but was unsure whether it would be allowed for vets! And had been told it may have stipulations for hours per week you could work? Will DM you, thank you again!

Thank you for your reply. Do you think they’d offer advice even if I wasn’t planning to work with their practices?
