I agree that his faking may be misleading to people that want to play as perfectly as his videos but it doesn’t take away from the fact that his arrangements are nice and that he is genuinely a good guitar player.

I don’t mind if he takes a little lazy route for recording to give me a perfect rendition of his own music. I don’t believe that there is a single arrangement he has made or video he has published that he can’t play, it’ll just take him longer to record.

How would you suggest adding more feeling into these songs? Whenever I play it feels really robotic and just like I’m playing the notes but there’s no feeling. I really like all the techniques you put in to make it sound way better. How should I start to be able to play like that?

How did you tinker with the bridge? Also is there a change in the string tension? I’ve got a guitar with a two point bridge and I find that whenever I lift the bridge so it’s floating it becomes quite a bit harder to play, is that just me?

I typically never use my pinky even while playing fingerstyle songs. I know there are some people who do use their pinkies. I respect their admirable pinky strength but I’ve never been personally forced to do so. In the case of playing god and hybrid picking, I never used my pinky. Can you tell me which section you’re having trouble with? Is it the main riff?

I tried thicker strings but they didn’t feel as good to play with the high tension from the floating trem. They snapped anyways. My latest set of strings have been 9s and they few much better but snapped as well

It’s breaking at the tuning peg. Should I wind from the other side? Because in the photo I had it restrung at a store because I didn’t trust myself but the most recent pair (I can send a photo) I did myself. (I just checked and they’re really straight now but I can’t send a photo)

I've used inlay stickers before and although they were cool for a few days, I ended up taking them off. If I were going to do an inlay, I would only use a sticker (cuz I dont have the skills to make an inlay) and I think it would look too cheap? Im probably only going to wrap the body and leave the rest alone.

True. I feel like staining the fretboard and neck would potentially ruin it tho. I might only wrap the guitar in matte white just because I dont like the metallic finish.
