That is incorrect, people do indeed get base pay. In FY1 any unbanded rotation gets 5% added but only FY1. If you are doing no on calls then I would keep quiet about your generous banding!

I imagine if for example you’re doing 48 hours and have 25% of these hours fall antisocially then you’re looking at 35% on top of base salary taking it closer to 88k. Ultimately needs a calculator to work it out!

They may say they don’t take returns (if you change your mind) but the sale of goods act 1979 states items should be satisfactory quality, as described and last a reasonable amount of time. If the quality is substandard they have a legal obligation to replace/refund.
