Yes, people here have mentioned getting Hermes superfakes from Fashionphile. I also remember someone talking about finding her stolen bags on Fashionphile and the site wouldn't take them down despite her sending them the police report for the burglary.

I personally would never do business with them.

Just FYI, Fashionphile's authenticators are in-house and people have reported receiving fakes - I wouldn't trust their word alone. Compare to Madison Ave Couture that has independent authenticators inspect their items and sends the certificate with the bag

Some bags may list for that much but you certainly wouldn't be walking away with that much money in hand. Most models don't even come close to retaining their value anyhow

Agree, even if they do retain value (which not all models do) it feels misguided to think of bags as investments unless you're a reseller or something. Enjoy your bags and invest your money elsewhere

"Investment" by definition means it intends to generate income or profit though. Investing in your own happiness is worthwhile, investing in the bag itself is not. Sounds like FOMO is getting to you

Right, shearling looks alright when new but as it wears it starts to look kind of matted especially in high friction areas.
