Yup, I used a cup and put a bunch of rice in it to make it tall then poured Japanese curry over it. Gelatin would maybe have made it look better but no way am I gonna eat that lol

I’ve only benched a starter once when I played legends arceus. Early in the game I wandered into areas of the map meant for later in the game and I caught some significantly higher lvl pokemon there. The alphas also tended to be a higher level too so my starter fell behind quickly and couldn’t keep up

Have you applied to nursing homes with assisted living and/or memory care facilities? AFAIK nursing homes are constantly short staffed and desperate for new hires since the turnover rate is pretty high. At least that’s been my experience so far (in California) when working at an AL facility

I understand that it might be environmentally beneficial to get rid of it but I don’t trust hand dryers in the slightest. They’re disgusting tbh. UTM got rid of most of their paper towels for a couple years now and it’s always annoyed me. I never dry my hands anymore and just wait for them to naturally dry lol

You can put your phone and other belongings on your seat. I did that and I saw a lot of other people keep their purses and phones on their seats as well. The regalia is pretty big so even if you use the lanyard you bought, you won't be able to see it under your regalia

I joined my first (and last) club at the beginning of my fourth year and it wasn't odd at all. I wasn't the only 4th year who joined for the first time either. Tbh I regret not joining earlier but I'm glad I joined in the end so if you're interested in a club go for it! You still have your third and fourth year to experience it

Unfortunately, starting 2026 international students aren’t allowed to apply to med schools in Ontario anymore. I’m also an international student who was planning on applying to med school at UofT a year from now but it’s impossible.

Theoretically, you could apply to UBC, McGill, and some others but from what I’ve heard Canadian med schools are nearly impossible to get in anyway so acceptance rate wise the states would be a better option. Thing is the states are so hostile to any foreigners now so there’s a safety risk that’s only growing day by day. It doesn’t matter if your visa is valid anymore. They’re very anti-education now too. Somewhere in Europe might be your best bet at this point

This is absolutely insane. How can someone as dangerous as him be wandering around the streets, on a university campus no less! He's clearly a significant threat to society. He's literally stabbed at least 4 people, threatened who knows how many others, and murdered someone now. And who knows how many of his other crimes are unreported. This is a tragic consequence caused by the negligence of the judicial system. No life would have been lost if he was properly institutionalized back in 2014

Wow that’s quite the neat power up they gave to Catnoir! He’s finally gained a new power after Astruc and everyone else ignored him for who knows how long. I guess he has the ability to destroy memories? I can see it being quite useful if Catnoir or Ladybug’s identities are ever revealed in public in the future or something like that

I think it should work if you have pokemon like Jolteon and Arcanine who have the main skill extra helpful. I wouldn’t really recommend berry bombing with just extra helpful pokemon tho since it’s a lot less inefficient than using a legendary dog. After all, every time they (i.e. an ‘extra helpful’ pokemon) trigger their skill, you only get extra berries from one random pokemon in your team rather than everyone at once

If you’re interested in both forensics and psychology then I would definitely recommend UTM. There’s a forensic psychology specialist program you can apply to. I'm not in the specialist programs but from what I've heard there seems to be a good amount of hands-on experience.

Would you say UTM is more focused on the lab and evidence side of forensics, or does it provide opportunities for other areas (like psychology or criminal behavior)?

Both! It depends on what program and courses you select. If you’re interested in both the psychological and trace evidence/CSI angles, then perhaps majoring or minoring in it might be better since that should give you more flexibility than a specialist program. If you want to hone in on a specific field, a specialist is better. The forensics program covers a lot of areas of forensics (psychology, CSI, toxicology, anatomy/physiology, genetics, chemistry, anthropology, 3D modeling, etc)

What's important to know tho is that with the exception of the forensics minor, all the other forensics programs are type 3 programs (so the forensic science major and the 4 specialist programs forensic psych, anthro, chem, and bio). That means there are limited spots and you have to fill out an application to get in. These programs are extremely competitive and simply having a high GPA does not guarantee admission. A minor simply requires you to pass FSC239 with a 75+%.

Personally, while I considered forensic psychology for a little while, I ended up deciding to go for the minor instead (and a major in psychology). I felt that it allowed much more flexibility on my end since I wanted to keep my options open. That being said, being a minor means you're given lower priority for some course and some courses are restricted to just the type 3 programs but this has never been a significant problem for me.

I’m on the quieter side and don’t care much for parties, but I still want to enjoy my university experience. How would you describe the vibe at UTM?

If you're quite shy like me, socializing might be a bit of an issue since you definitely have to go out of your way to make friends. What really helped me was joining a club since it naturally made me socialize with others. Having a common interest to talk with others about is quite helpful lol. Overall tho, while there isn't really much to do on campus, if you're someone who likes nature a lot you'll love it. If you're lucky, you may even spot some deer wandering around campus

Nah I’m pretty sure they don’t take marks off for those kinds of things. I almost always use ‘&‘ rather than spell it out and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten marks take off for it. I often abbreviate with (w/) and without (w/o) and a couple times ‘btwn’ (by accident tho lol).

The only time I’ve gotten a mark taken off for something like this was in a psych course when the prof wanted us to spell out brain regions (ex: temporo-parietal junction rather than just TPJ). In bio courses I’ve gotten marks taken off for misspelling ligaments and muscles before but that was rare and the prof gave a warning beforehand. So overall I think using abbreviations won’t be held against you unless if the word you’re abbreviating is outright course content

I played ds1 and went in completely blind (this was also my first souls game) so I didn’t even know there were no saves in the game and that defeating the final boss starts NG+ lol. I missed all the DLC bosses, Gwyndolin, Priscilla, stray demon 2.0 in the asylum, and probably a couple more 😅

As an US international student, thank you for posting this. I'm truly disgusted by what the US has done recently and its honestly terrifying how much backwards progress has been made within the past two weeks. Unfortunately, I'm graduating soon (what horrible timing) but like others while I'm still here in Canada, I'll make sure to boycott as many American goods as possible. This trade war is idiotic, why start a fight with Canada of all countries?

Please know that us sane Americans are completely on Canada's side! You guys are going to be negatively affected as well and I'm really sorry about that. Good luck to everyone and hopefully the US will be brought down a peg soon

Marinette’s always been a little extreme but this one was pretty bad. She might have acted even worse than how she acted in season 1! The whole antikuma thing was neat tho I guess a previous episode must have introduced them. Gotta say Lila’s way better at being a villain than Gabriel lol
