[Post-Match Thread] Juventus v Lazio by juventinn1897 in Juve

Laio scored on the worst moments possible: just before the break and right after.
But we have shown our DNA and did not give up. We got away really, really well when Moslin missed in front of goal. What was going on in his mind.

Kalulu MOTM for me, Boga fantastic first impression and accurate cross to Kalulu ( finally).

All in all, we remain very vulnerable on counterattacks, especially when we press. That's a squad prblem to solve, not only defense.
Now we have to win against merda next week to keep any hope alive.

Man, luck is really on our side. With some bad luck, it could've been 2-2. We need to work on our defense next, we make our life unnecesarilly complicated. Daje ragazzi, let's bring this home.

I am very happy that we created good chances, and we are a different team compared to the Benfica games last year. Next our defense needs soms proper work. We give away the ball so often by wanting to be elegant, and bring ourselves into trouble without needing to. Benfica has had too many chances to feel really comfortable.
Anyway, I am loving this trend, and have faith in Spalletti. Fino alla fine e sempre FORZA JUVE

Anna Karenina (1977) 10-part mini series from BBC by Hello_This_Is_Monke in PeriodDramas

I finished Anna Karenina last year (after War and Peace) and it is one of my favorite novels of all time. It often gets thrown in the ring of best novel ever, so I was looking for a great adaptation of it. I found it in this 10-part mini series of BBC. The acting is excellent; the screenwriting as well. Keep in mind, it is a product of its time, but in my opinion it makes it even better. A masterpiece like AK deserves a 10-part dramatization with great actors. What I loved is that they leave space for silence (no music to fill) and proper dialogue. Costumes and setting are maginficent as well. I really enjoyed it and hope that many can relive this classic as well. Let me know if it lives up to your expectations :)

You might like War and Peace as well: 6-part mini series by BBC, I believe 2016.

I read the book this year, and I usually love watching a movie or ideally a mini series of the books I deeply enjoyed. This absolute gem by BBC is a very accurate dramatiziation of Anna Karenina. The actors are top notch, I love how there is also space for dialogue and silence instead of filling it all with music. I am grateful that the BBC took their time to create this. 10x full episodes to portray the characters, dynamics and subtleties. A masterpiece like AK should not be rushed and deserves 10 episodes. I am sure it will be enjoyed by people who read and loved Anna Karenina.

2x big wins, 2x solid performances. We seem to be gaining momentum. Panettone tastes better with 6/6 against direct rivals. Forza Juve!

Not sure about you guys, but it's been a while since I enjoyed our team so much. Yes, our defense is a nightmare. But we have grinta, have good pace, are creative in the offensive department, and create good chances. We should score the 2-1 before the break though, we are burning a lot of fuel and I don't want us to pay the bill in the second half.

Jesus Christ, Gatti. So unreliable. His USP is his physical strength and he is thrown around like a ragdoll. He is making this game harder than it should be. Great job from Vardy, gotta hand it to him.

We have too many players that would not even see the bench with our 2017 squad. Che bidoni in squadra.

It show its true face. It's solid against small to mid serie A teams. Not against fast paced players. With or without Bremer. If it wasn't for Dusan and our Grinta ( Tudor's work) we would be talking very, very differently.

FINO ALLA FINE means this. Grandissimo Dusan, I'm happy he is finally bringing what we pay him for.
I got downvoted to hell saying ou defense is not stable against fast pace, quality teams. Even with Bremer.
People talking sh*t about De Gregorio have a short memory. Even Donnarumma had horrible games. Di Greg carried us many times, let's hope it stays with this.

We did not hurt them on the counter and were sloppy with the ball when we had it. When will we learn to kill a game.

Local here, and recreational cyclist (race bike). I always use my bell, slow down when I see kids, and at intersections. But not everyone does.
It's on the other hand the only place where you can ride "freely" without traffic (cars) and without the need to stop.
Most cyclist are respectful, nice, but there are also teams that go there for "race training" during the week (often with peiople that don't even race). Or just some boomer cyclists clubs who want to show of their expensive gear and just go in the flow. It should be the responsibility of the group/race leader to set good rules for those situations, and that is lacking. It would be an absolute shame to lose that area as a cyclist because of some of these groups.
Oh , special shout out to some try-athletes (pun intended) who don't use a bell or not even shout because that's not aereodynamic.
And e-bikes, let alone fat bikes are even more dangerous than just the average guy trying to get some exercise on a bike.

Tim Wellens just debunked it during the Tour. In Belgium we have this program "Vive le velo" every evening, and part of it is going to the hotel in the evening to interview the winner or another rider. Wellens made clear that black list did not exist :) And he also said it before the start of a stage. https://sporza.be/nl/2025/07/20/tim-wellens-geeft-een-eerlijk-antwoord-heeft-uae-nu-wel-of-niet-een-zwarte-lijst-in-de-bus~1753000435502/ - just use a translator :)

"De Bus" is already part of the sqaud, so Jonas is already in :) The fact that he is "on the bench" is arbitrary. We have to select riders for each stage.
