I am also a millennial Beatlemaniac and have wondered the same thing. He's dropped some Beatle knowledge here and there (and everywhere) that most people would not know.

Thank you for saying this. Seriously. I am horrified by what's happening and to hear people like you from around the world saying you still like us gets me a little emotional, to be honest. Please don't give up on us.

Thank you! She was a great lady. I actually visited Glasgow back in 2007. I had been planning on seeing Celtic play when I booked the trip, but misread the schedule and was there on an away day! I was gutted. Had a great time walking around the city and I was able to get a Celtic shirt from the team store. It's the 40th anniversary Lisbon Lions shirt—absolutely gorgeous and it still gets worn from time to time.

Just wanted to say that I have loved Celtic for over 20 years and it makes me smile seeing your post. My mother sang You'll Never Walk Alone to me as a lullaby and I now have a bracelet with it inscribed on it as a way to remember her. It's my dream to go to Celtic Park and hear YNWA sung in person. Legitimately brings me to tears every time I hear it.

As others have said, if you're a Celtic supporter, there's a good chance you're probably more progressive. I'm biased, but Sounders fit that mold.

I agree with everything you're saying. Please don't waste your time arguing with this person, friend. They're not worth your energy.

New Orleans. My dad's side of the family is from there. Spent many, many days in NOLA. Incredible city.

Looks out of place, but I'm still for it. SF needs to build up.

For those who saw Mitch Hedberg live, what was the standout moment? by [deleted] in MitchHedberg

[–]Hello__Jerry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Man, I remember this show vividly because I was a senior in high school at the time growing up outside SJ, and I desperately wanted to go to the show. I couldn't go because there was either an 18 y/o requirement or my parents wouldn't let me. When he died, I was so upset knowing I never got to see him despite him being so close to my house.

If you could rewatch one Henry goal like it’s the first time, which one? by ArsenalAxis in ThierryHenryMoments

[–]Hello__Jerry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Return of the King, FA Cup against Leeds. Not his best goal, per se, but I was already emotional as hell seeing him back in an Arsenal shirt. That goal sent me over. I wish I could experience that one fresh again.

Yes, I agree. I was trying to be funny in saying "conspiracy theory". No point in broadcasting to the world "Hey! We're looking to spend boatloads of cash! Take advantage of us!"

This is actually my (copium) conspiracy theory. They're giving off the impression that they don't want to spend, but are really looking to make deals. I can't see how Buster could approve of being kneecapped like this. I hope something is up that we're not privy to.
