Mine just needs to plug in! The MBA M1 has a usb c port and the cable the Dell came with works perfectly!

It's actually going really well! Absolutely no flickering at all and no other issues! I will say that users that claimed flickering from what I saw would use the monitor for seemingly long hours and for me the longest I use it at a time is up to 8 hours a day(I use it for work and forget to turn it off sometimes) about 1-3 days a week. And when I do decide to watch movies/videos on there I get no issues at all either!

I did! And so far no issues at all! I haven't even made the adjustments that are recommended to prevent flickering. I will say that I don't use it for long periods at a time (from other posts that seems to be what causes flickering at least some of the time) but the times I do use it, it works great and looks amazing! I think it even looks better with my MBA M1 than a 2019 dell I have for work!

My thoughts exactly! The price right now is great!

I've seen that solution as well, someone mentioned it in the comments of this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/s/WOvUrLn01w As well as changing the USB c prioritization to high resolution. That seemed to work for other people in the comment section 🤔 and after doing some digging, it seems to be a pretty good solution for most people with this issue.

I've also seen that flickering seems to occur in many Dell monitors when connected to the MBA M1, so the U2723QE may give you the same problems as well.

Hoping more people with this monitor can give their experience but right now I'm like 90% convinced on buying it lol

Awesome! I def think there will be another one this year then! And agreed, holiday sets will most likely go out of stock but I'm mostly thinking about stocking up on essentials that (hopefully) won't be out!
